This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

If Devey is this Sunday who he was last Sunday, and if Kline is deemed not worthy to even dress, then both of them should be immediately waived on Monday, and 2 veterans signed to replace them.

Shame on Bill for allowing this mess to happen.
If the line "blocks" this Sunday like they did in Miami, the survival of our GOAT QB and our vision of a successful season are in serious jeopardy. Or perhaps this Sunday Devey will not be who he was last Sunday. Perhaps, instead, we will see a glimmer of whatever it is Bill has seen that made him think he could discard Mankins, start Devey, along with Volmer, Solder, Cannon, and Captain Dan, and win a championship. I choose life.

Finally getting back to this. I have now completed the game, i.e. done the first half. Devey was not a distinct problem at all, though he does have a problem anchoring against shorter bull rushes.

Vernon (#50) routinely caused Solder to fall down trying to get in front of his speed rush. Pretty sure there was a holding call against him when he dragged Vernon down with him on the last drive.

The play chart:
Code:
1st Drive
Solder - Cannon - Connolly - Devey - Vollmer

The first half summary:

Devey 2 1
Vollmer 2
Wendell

And the totals:
Code:
Name Sack	Knockdown	Pressure	Demerit
Solder 2 6 3
Cannon 4 1 1
Connolly 2 4 3
Devey 1	1 7 3
Vollmer 2	2 2
Wendell 1

Pretty ugly. Vollmer had a decent day considering he was playing against Wake and was gimpy the last third of the game.

Good work. Now, get a clean notepad out for this afternoon. :D
