Who shall they keep???
I believe there are 20 something free agents for the team...As far as ERFAs...Wright, Britt, Alexander, Yates, Childress, Kight, Spann, mays and G WIlliams... (Mruczkowski I believe signed a 2 year deal-07) These i would certainly sign...as well as a number of the PSqd players....
The RFAs...Baker and Gay...If either shows promise why not a tender..Gay is a bit injury prone, but he may be a good player nonetheless...
UFAs...There are ones that are older who most likely NOT be signed..
Testaverde, Seau, Walter, Sauerbrun, Mickens
And others who are more Sters..Gardner, Izzo, Davis......Maybe keep izzo or Gardner???
And the others..TroyB, Banta-Cain, Evans, Pass, Gaffney, Graham, Samuel??? Will Troy come back for a year?? Evans seems like he;s a good FB and tough runner?? Pass? Gone!! Gaffney? Might be rreally a solid 3 with a full camp... Graham" Samuel? Banta-Cain? My guess is samuel will want too much..but Graham and banta-Cain may stay...
NOT a bad situation at all is it????

Save the free agency talk for after february.

Just an FYI....there is a game today at 1PM. Stay focused

Gaffney signed a two year deal. He will be here in 2007.

I agree with you that the Pats will tender offers to all of their ERFA's and

RFA's. They will probably also re-sign most of the practice squad.

I am not as optomistic as you with regard to their UFA's. I think

they will lose TBC, Graham, Pass, and Samuel. I think they will re-sign

Davis, Evans, Gardner, Izzo, and Mickens. Brown and Seau might also be

re-signed if they do not retire. Sauerbrun, Testaverde, and Walter will not

be re-signed. Gaffney may not be a UFA. He is listed on Miguel's salary

cap page on having a contract that expires in 2006 but Mike Reiss

indicated he is signed thru 2007.

focus !

and you think that us discussing FA's in anyway effects the outcome of the game?:D

Doubt they lose TBC, who would outbid us? The jesters?

Samuel w/b franchised and traded if it comes to that. Or maybe just franchised.

Davis? Izzo? Too old and can't play anything other than ST. They might be gone. Izzo is supposedly good at ST. Don't know about Davis.

Mickens? He's a good nickel back, I'd say they try to keep him.

Graham? Maybe he's gone. Shoulders are too injured. That would be a loss but give Thomas more playing time.

sarcastic response: oh yeah sure it does. i think the order of the universe is going to be disturbed.

serious response:

1. there is a game today and i'd prefer to read game threads rather than have to week through off season topics.

2. I wish people would not recreate threads about the same topic(not that this one is).

3. this is a topic that is better served for discussion in the offseason when nothing is going on.
