    Well, here we go again.
"Accidentally" killing civilians in a "mistake".

There's no mistakes being made or accidents happening whan we continue this mess of a foreign policy being carried out via boneheaded military strategy with objectives that shift and change when the wind blows a different direction. Our intelligence is shaky. Our execution and leadership looks like something the Three Stooges would be embarrassed about. Our superior technology continues to fail us.

A friend or relative of one of these victims of US terror could very well be the one who, ten years from now, masterminds another attack on US soil, and we'll be shocked and angry at how our innocent civilians were mercilessly and randomly murdered by savages claiming to belong to a religion of peace.

You reap what you sow, People.

McChrystal apologizes as airstrike kills dozens in Afghanistan - CNN.com

Twenty-seven civilians died and 14 others were wounded in the incident Sunday in the central Daikondi province, according to the Afghan Interior Ministry.

Ground forces at the scene found women and children among the casualties, the Afghan government and NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a joint statement...

...In the last two weeks alone, more than 50 Afghan civilians are believed to have been killed in more than half a dozen U.S. and NATO military operations.

This blood is on Obama's hands ALONE.
There has been ample time to realize how self-destructive a prolonged occupation of Afghanistan is (about 4000 years of analysis should suffice). Obama refuses to recognize the lessons of history. He is arrogant and ignorant to the realities on the ground. He needs to stop listening to his "generals" and bring the troops home, beef up border and port security, and get us off of middle east oil forever. American troops do not belong in Afghanistan or any other country for that matter.

Yup, I was all for going after the filthy 9/11 savages but now I see that was useless, it's pretty hard to catch rats that hide in caves and Mosques.

I always thought the Left Wing Liberal Democrats that were against war were sincere caring people but now I see they were nothing but a pack of f-cking phony scum, they used to bleat and whail about the Caskets & Body Bags but all they really cared about was "Getting The Hated Bush"

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS NOTHING BUT ANOTHER STINKING WAR MONGER KILLING PEOPLE IN A FAR OFF LAND FOR NO GOOD REASON THAT A F-CKING DUMMY LIKE ME CAN FIGURE OUT BUT THE WAR PROTESTERS ARE QUIET BUSH IS GONE, THE NEW PRESIDENT WITH THE PING PONG PADDLE EARS IS THEIR LOVELY POSTER BOY, THE ANTI WAR PHONY'S ARE HAPPY NOW.

Personally, I think it's only a matter of time before bankrupt western countries begin to pull the plug on their commitments over there. I think this "surge" is much like the one in Iraq, in the sense that it's a last ditch effort to salvage the situation. In Iraq, it succeeded, and therefore didn't require us to pull the plug. Had it not, then I think the Admin in charge would have shrugged it's shoulders, said we tried, and called it a day. I think the same thinking is involved here.

Drones and mercenaries. The US military is being phased out. Truly cowardly way to conduct violence on undeserving victims. We've come so far....:(

Mercenaries and murder in Iraq | Eric Stoner | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

"...How would America like it if other nations flew drones over our territory and killed our citizens because they appeared to be dangerous or potentially threatening? Would the American law enforcement agencies use drones and missiles to fight a "war against crime" -- perhaps taking out crack houses in inner cities with missiles to prevent police casualties?"...

It's a dirty filthy situation but you won't hear much objection to it, not with Our Messiah calling the shots, the only way to get the War Protesters back is to elect Jeb Bush or Sarah in 2012.

How come we don't hear anymore blubbering over the "poor little muslims" down in Gitmo.............:singing:

I understand your point, but those articles don't necessarily support it. One mentions an incident inside the Green Zone where contractors attacked each other, while the second is a bit out to left field, with it's "anyone with a gun gets murdered" theme. The writer talks about how people all the battlefield shoot it out. Um, someone should remind him that terrorists don't fight on a battlefield. Still, your point is valid.

No matter how the "Barack Groupies" try to ingore or dodge it the ball is now in Obama's court, The Wars & Gitmo are all his and he has chosen to stay with the Bush Policy, there has been No Hope, No Change, does this mean that The Hated Bush Was Right All Along-----

Wake up everyone! If you're in a WAR, innocent people are going to die. It's always been that way and it always will be that way.

Hell, we even kill our own by mistake sometimes. Very sad, but a fact of war. It has happened in every single war we've ever been in.

Why is this suddenly an issue?

If there were no wars, there would be no "collateral damage"... the answer is to end all wars..

If all humans save for two were to vanish from the face of the earth and someday those two who remained should meet the very first thing they would do is have a fight.

We are what we are, man and his dirty wars have been slaughtering human beings for thousands of years, if America were to say to the world "hey world lets stop fighting, we here in America are going to get rid of all our guns and soldiers, we quit fighting, we love everybody"
as soon as the last gun was destroyed and as soon as the last soldier was discharged Haiti, Nova Scotia or Cuba would attack us.

We enjoy killing each other thats why the UFO's won't land here, imagine coming from another galaxy then parking your UFO over France and watching The Invasion Of Normandy or better still imagine hovering over a stadium and watching a European Soccer Game then at the end of the game watching the fans trying to kill each other with their chairs, after thinking about this would any of you if you were in one of those UFO's want to land on this god damn place.

That'd be nice, but I don't think that's ever going to happen pal. Wars are a fact of mankind. I'm not sure if you've ever seen 2001 Space Oddessey. If you have, the opening scene with the apes and the water hole says it all.

The point is, someone will always want something that some else has, and they'll sometimes do whatever it is they have to, in order to attain it.
