U.N. Says Iran Has Fuel for 2 Nuclear Weapons - NYTimes.com
Don't "Offend Them".....................:singing:
Calling BS on this one. This is the second time in the last 2-3 months that Iran's capabilities have supposedly made significant gains. Methinks this is another attempt to try and dissuade Israel from taking some sort of action, particularly now that it is feeling backed into a corner.
This makes sense to me.
When has Israel not felt backed into a corner? It is the nature of their existence. It will always be that way. There is no end to it.
Sounds like a great place to live.
Where is the Mossad and the CIA, more efficient and cost effective.
Still celebrating the clean getaway from 9-11
Let's impose sanctions! Yeah! That'll teach 'em, the bastards!
Heh, you should know by now not to ask such open ended questions. A possible answer to your question: A little after 1967, during the late 1970s through maybe the mid-1980s when the Lebanon invasion and the Intifada were on everyone's minds. Perhaps during the mid-1990s when peace prospects looked good.
People have always been angry with Israel, but there have always been a few countries expressing solidarity with them, particularly the US, India, and not as importantly, several sub-Saharan African countries. Lately, even these countries, with the possible exception of India, Kenya, and a few others, have been leaving them in the lurch. Of course, they've been establishing backchannel talks with the Chinese and Russians, which could open up interesting possibilities for them, but create several liabilities for us.
They've actually done some good work on this issue so far, convincing a couple top Iranian figures into defecting/informing.
