All the talk about our secondary gave me all the ammo I needed to research last years secondary. Originally it was posted in another thread but since it is relevant here I re-posted the info in case it was missed. The bottom line is IMO we could really use Ty to solidify what was a shaky at best secondary last year. I can hardly wait for training camp...

Hopefully we get Ty Law back. It'd also be nice to get Donnie Edwards in NE, but I don't see that happening.

You confirmed what I seemed to remember - the yardage is one thing - BB has often employed a "bend but don't break" strategy, but last year our "bend but don't break" was broke, as evidenced by the 20+ points put up by some pretty mediocre to bad offenses.

Again, no one should expect the 2006 Ty Law to be exactly the same player, but in the best case scenario he helps shut down one side of the field and in the worst case scenario, long term, he and Wilson swap positions.

The bottom line for me is what a difference not having Rodney out there made for our team. Since we can't clone Rodney the only real solution is to improve our secondary depth and Ty Law is the best way to do that IMO.

''Law working hard for right spot''

'' NE or KC have a pretty darmn good chance of winning ''

let's see...
