Twitter Proves to be a "Loaded Gun" Yet Again

So a 23 year old had some money in his pocket, went out, got drunk, acted like an idiot, and told people to s his d in a platform for extroverts. Am I missing something? I thought that's what people in their early twenties do? People concerned about the kids should listen to kids talk in groups. They're foul-mouthed raging little bastards. Besides, they grew up with high speed internet porn. They can watch someone get decapitated with a blunt knife by a Mexican cartel on dailymotion. I'm not horribly concerned for their frail psyches. There's always been vapid idiots. The internet now just gives them a global voice. Tune in or tune out. It's not like Paris Hilton is your sister. Let's not be so sanctimonious and judge people we've never met. Lighten up, get some humility, the human race will be fine.

LOL Glad you've determined there's nothing to be concerned about. I vaguely recall most of europe saying the same thing about some extroverted housepainter with a mustache...but that was before your global times. It's all good, nothings ever anything to get excited about...society is just hitchin' a ride on the information highway along the evolutionary trail. :bricks:

It's not "their" frail psyche's I'm concerned about. It's what a preceeding a generation of vapid idiots gone global might ultimately do to mine...IMHO.

Well, stupidity and evil are two different beasts. It takes a certain degree of cunning to alter world history. The Internet is a fascinating thing. It tends to amplify people's personality. Dumb people will get easier access to tapout shirts, and smart people will absorb previously impossible levels of information. Yes, there are a lot of dumb people talking sh*t on twitter, but strangely enough there's also a lot of smart people. Those smart people provide links to fascinating stuff that's changing how theories are viewed. The people reading these gain better opinions, improve these ideas, and ultimately create some incredible sh*t. Women in Saudi Arabia are figuring out that they have the right to drive a car.

Are dumb people out breeding smart people? Well yeah, of course, they always have been. The difference is that the dumb ones never did anything that is remembered in history. Are pyramids impressive? Sure, incredible knowledge of geometry and masonry. They also have stick figures of men with the heads of dogs who are evil drawn in them. There's your stupid people in history right there, and pyramids ain't got sh*t on reading the Internet on a computer that fits in my pocket while sitting 37,000 feet in the air traveling 550mph in a glorified cigar tube. A cult leader illegitimate son of a carpenter CHANGED HOW WE DATE THINGS because he ate psilocybin mushrooms and spoke to ******s who bought it. If Twitter existed in 15 AD, Jesus would have had bullish*t called on him in 2 seconds, literally.

The worlds changing, we're still the same destructive talking monkies just trying to figure out sentience. Just like the zoo, there's a chimp beating off and a chimp figuring out how to escape. Read the latter's Twitter and all will be well.

Jay, I agree that it's no big deal but it does make him look stupid and immature. People should know better.

Haha. Great post jayS. Are you the guy who calls into Pat and Tim in the afternoon and gets the great Pats talk going? Been following your posts(and of course that football maniac OTG) and always look forward to them.

Same here. I love reading Jays' posts.

He is a defensive tackle. I don't care what he tweets.

Can he rush the passer?

Holy ****, did MLR just really Godwin this thread?

Twitter to Hitler in three easy steps. I'm truly sorry that we're all collectively wrecking your world, Mo. The world should be populated solely by upstanding folks like you, who continue to celebrate the near-deaths of famous athletes.
