As much as I'm sure everyone is feeling terrible right now, there's no reason to get too down. It's just a game after all. Sure there were a few big plays that could've been the difference, but in the end it wasn't meant to happen. Give credit to the Giants, as much as I hate saying it, Eli outplayed Brady again and they deserved to win. A month ago nobody thought we would even sniff the Super Bowl, let alone be inches away from winning it; which does make it sting all that much more. But there are some positives to be found. We have a young team with a good core in place, and they can only improve, learn, and become stronger. We have two young RBs who could see the field a lot more next year, couple that with an upgrade at WR and our Offence gets even better. Our defence still leaves a lot to be desired, but we did see drastic improvement at the end of the season and into the playoffs. Dowling will be back, and young players like Spikes & Moore will continue to progress. The defence is young and will continue to get better. Couple that with 2 first and second round draft picks, along with a very workable salary cap, our curve is trending up. We will be back to finish the job.
