Pats Pro shop is a bit much. How can i tell what ones are actually real on Ebay?
Hard to tell without a photo of the item, and even then, the Chinese jersey cloning industry is at full strength these days.
Go through the pro shop if you want authentic.
Also, I think if you go to a game, and pay the $55 for parking, it will make you feel like you aren't really spending that much for a Moss jersey if you buy it immediately after picking up the parking tab.
I bought mine on Ebay around week two for 72$ plus shipping. Most stitched jerseys I've bought on Ebay were around that price or lower.
i'd say 99.5% of authentic jerseys on ebay arent truly authentic. the pro shop authentic's numbers are very heavy duty, thick and stiff. (that sounds bad) the ebay jerseys are nice too though, imo. especially for the price. in this economy I dont know many people who could throw down $225 for a jersey
just my 2 cents
to be honest with you, i think the reebok equipment jerseys are pretty good quality. they are not the cheap replicas but they are not the authentic ones either. they are kind of in between. you may want to go this route.
I've bought two on ebay. One brady jersey that was a fake (can't tell unless you really inspect it) and one Welker jersey that is authentic. You compare the welker jersey next to the brady and you can easily spot the differences, but I like em both regardless. The authentic one fits much truer though....
oh and the brady (fake) jersey was like $55 (that included shipping) the Welker one was $119 shipped.
what about the 'the shop' on NFL dot com?
Here is a great video that helps you tell the difference between real jerseys and fake jerseys
