I'm not too high on Freeney, I think some of the colts run defense problems were attributed to him spinning away from the back and leaving a hole open.

Ty Warren is better than Dwight Freeney.

I'd never change our DLine, and I hope the group remains together for the lengths of their career (wishful thinking).

As others said, Freeney would be an OLB in our system. I think Freeney is immensely overrated. He is a pass rush specialist who has been exposed by Orlando Pace. He is easily defended if a tackle can keep him at arms length from his body. Freeney needs leverage against a blocker's body to effectively do his spin move. Otherwise a defender can keep Freeney in front of him.

I think Bennett will be re-signed by the Titans but take a look at his career and game stats you'll see that he's been a very good deep threat. Just what we need - if he's available.

I think Warren is better than freeney IMO, I don't think freeney would work in a 3-4 anyway....

for the defense we play Warren and Seymour are perfect with Wilfork in the middle - freeney is good but a LB in this defensive scheme and how are his cover skills?

yes hes very good as a pass rusher and in coverage..hes the 1 of the best all around LBs. when he rushes the QB..he kills them. i remember he destroyed Frye or Ben..forgot which

No way at all the Patriots could franchise Samuel AND sign Clements. It would be cap suicide to spend that much money on one position.

Now, franchising/signing Samuel, signing Thomas, and signing Bennett is still a pipe dream, but a bit more reasonable, and I could definitely get on board with that! Those moves would solve all of the team's major problems.
