I liked William Moore coming out of college. Could give us a 'Rodney' presence in the DB we have been missing for a while.

Barwin:rofl:

James Casey (#45) could serve both as a Move TE and as a decent if not devastating FB.

Lots of good names on the list, including old friend Connor Barwin.

And look who checks in at #73.

Edit: sorry to repeat Connor Barwin, was typing my post as Nut was entering his.

Arrington is #88 as well, which is somewhat surprising. Seems like there's a lot of good names on this list, the opportunity is definitely there to add some depth and talent to this roster, if they're shrewd enough.

1. Surprised Barwin is that low on the list.

2. 10, 9, 8...........until somebody suggests #46 on the list.

3. NFL didn't fine or suspended Cary Williams for his ref push but BB gets a huge fine for trying to slow a replacement zebra down for an explaination.

4. Kyle Arrington #88, Leodis McKelvin #90, Tracy Porter #92....ya about that.

Some interesting names to be sure. I hope they at least kick the tires to get a price on Byrd. Probably wants Ferrari money but what the hell.

I hope they kick the tires on Talib, Vollmer, and Welker rather than find
cheaper, inferior replacements.

Boy I wish we had Henry Melton.

Big Time William Moore fan, the "thumper" we've been looking for.

If Dimitroff in Atlanta loses Sam Baker, does he target Vollmer?

Dorsey was a beast coming out of LSU a few years ago. He was not suited for a 3-4 DE, but could he be salvaged as a DT lining up next to Wilfork?

And then above all three of them at #73 there is ....

Darius Butler :scared2:

#58 George Wilson was released yesterday. He would seem to be an upgrade.

Thing that stood out to me was the amount of tackles in this year's FA class. I would think that gives the Patriots considerable leverage with Vollmer. There are no superstar free agents this offseason but it sure seems like there is solid depth.

Yeah, you would think that a large supply would keep the price relatively sane. Pats may see the same and not go overboard with an offer to Vollmer.

Ryan Clady, Broncos
Andre Smith, Bengals
Branden Albert, Chiefs
Phil Loadholt, Vikings
Jake Long, Dolphins
Gosder Cherilus, Lions
Sam Baker, Falcons
Jermon Bushrod, Saints
Will Beatty, Giants
Bryant McKinnie, Ravens

And that goes to show just how little effort was put into the list...

Hell hath no fury like a binky scorned.

If Barwin :beatingcoming: you, you have no one to blame but yourself. :snob:

I was mocked and ridiculed for saying Clay Mathews was the guy I wanted instead of Barwin. There was so much love for Barwin that year on the draft forum, that it looked like a 3 month Valentines Day.

Despite the overall quality of the list, there are quite a few players that should interest the Patriots and more importantly, fill areas of need.
