1. Miami - Jake Long OT
2. St Louis - Glenn Dorsey DT
3. Atlanta - Matt Ryan QB
4. Oakland - Chris Long DE
5. Kansas City - Sedrick Ellis
6. New York Jets - Darren McFadden RB
7. New England - Vernon Gholston OLB
8. Baltimore - Ryan Clady OT
9. Cincinnati - Keith Rivers LB
10. New Orleans - Leodis McKelvin CB

And that's how I see the draft unfolding, barring trades.
You can substitute Albert if you want for Clady, but only if you believe he can play tackle. And you can substitute DRC for McKelvin, if you think the Saints are not worried about his small school competition. Because he sure has spades of athleticism to make up for it.

Switch Ellis and Gholston. KC needs pass rushers and Herm Edwards is said to be really high on Gholston. I don't think there is a chance that Vernon falls to #7. Good top 10, but let's face we won't have a chance at Long or Gholston.

Could see the Chiefs taking Gholston there to replace Jared Allen. Which would leave Ellis to the Pats, in which case they would probably trade down with Cincy or the Saints.

I'd remove Rivers and add Albert (as much as I don't think he's worth a top-10 selection), and I think you've got the top 10 nailed, although not necessarily in order. FWIW, I have:

1. Long
2. Dorsey
3. Ryan
4. Long
5. Gholston
6. Clady
7. Ellis
8. McFadden
9. Albert
10. McKelvin

There are some trades in there.

Ok I couldn't help but think of at least 1 trade that should happen.

KC Trades down with New Orleans, they get back the #10 pick and the Saints 2nd round pick in return. Harvey is too high to pick at 5, but a great value at 10. If the Jets move up to pick #2, obviously that screws everything up, but those are the breaks. The draft can be a fluid, evershifting beast. If the Pats don't love Gholston I could also easily see them trading down. But probably not with the Saints if they make the deal with KC.

1. Miami - Jake Long OT
2. St Louis - Glenn Dorsey DT
3. Atlanta - Matt Ryan QB
4. Oakland - Chris Long DE
5. New Orleans from KC - Sedrick Ellis DT
6. New York Jets - Darren McFadden RB
7. New England - Vernon Gholston OLB
8. Baltimore - Clady OT
9. Cincinnati - Keith Rivers LB
10. KC from New Orleans - Derrick Harvey DE

PS DH do you really think Cinci likes Albert better than Rivers? They do have a huge depth problem at LB, and Rivers could help fix that immediately.

I think were going to be for a surprise with one of the picks in the Top 6. It could be the Raiders or KC, but someone is going to take someone whom none of us are guessing. Maybe, KC shocks us and takes Albert or Clady. I just have a feeling we in for a surprise. I think everyone has a different draft board this year and I can't wait.

2. Dorsey - Best player on the board
3. Ryan - With Dorsey gone, get QB now and build around him later
4. Gholston - Physical freak. Picked too early. Al Davis. Simple.
5. CLong - While Jared's spot is still warm
6. McFadden - No choice. Jets fans have extra 3 hours of drinking before draft.

Pats trade out of #7 to someone looking for Ellis (Cincy, NO, Carolina)

Here's what I got:

1. Miami - Jake Long OT
2. St Louis - Glenn Dorsey DT (sit tight and take him)
3. Atlanta - Matt Ryan QB
4. Oakland - Darren McFadden RB (Crazy Al strikes again)
5. Kansas City - Chris Long DE
6. New York Jets - Vernon Gholston OLB
7. New England - Sedrick Ellis DT (BB's classic value pick)

8. Denver via Baltimore - Brandon Albert OT
9. Cincinnati - Keith Rivers LB
10. New Orleans - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB

No. I have Cincy trading up for Ellis. I have Philly trading up for Albert. I'll post my first round mock shortly.

My latest:

1. J. Long
2. G. Dorsey
3. M. Ryan
4. C. Long
5. (Trade: New Orleans) S. Ellis
6. V. Gholston
7. (Trade: Carolina) R. Clady
8. K Rivers
9. (Trade: Detroit) D. McFadden
10. (KC) J. Otah

I see several teams in tight spots. The Jets will want to trade down, but may not have good options with teams above and below them offering sweetheart deals. The Bengals may be in the worst pinch at 9 with Rivers off the board.

Rivers to Ravens, that's interesting (does make sense) Ray Lewis' era is coming to an end.
