I remember reading that Tiger moved from CA to FL because he didn't want to pay the high CA taxes. That lowered my opinion of him; nevertheless, he is one of the greatest exponents of the dullest sport, so for that he deserves to be acknowledged. But, regardless, I'm glad he is okay.

I am glad he is ok, want him to finish what he started and go down as the greatest golfer of all time...

Patters, that's pretty sad on your part to write those comments above.

You may believe high taxes on a particular income level is ok...but some don't agree with you...millions don't agree with you. Whatever a person chooses to do in such cases has nothing to do with their character.

Hey, maybe Tiger is a republican....is your opinion going to be lower if that were the case as well?

Personally, I would never judge someone because of their political beliefs. No one has that right...including you.

California is the worst fiscally run state in the history of this nation...bar none.

I don't know why they said "serious condition" he was released from the hospital after being treated for facial lacerations aka cuts.

Actually, New York and New Jersey are going to pass California as the first states to go bankrupt.

As for not judging a person by their politics, the stakes are a bit too high for that cop out. Of course people are judged by their politics -- which is a direct function of their ideology, their ethics, and their morals. What the hell else are they judged on? Their music collection?

CA contributed to Tiger's growth and rather than pay his fair share he chose to leave. If he chose to leave because Florida had better golf courses, I'd have no issue, but I thought it was very selfish of him to leave for tax reasons. (FYI, I raised the point in the first place because someone complained about this thread because it had nothing to do with politics. I raised the point to resolve the complaint!)

It's an example of why raising taxes (or having high taxes) doesn't generate more revenue - especially at the state level.

Tiger admittedly is tight with his money. There is a huge difference in taxes between those two states. I could care less in regards to his move if it was based on tax reasons. What I judge him on is how he handles himself (very impressive) and what he contributes to society ( his foundation is also very impressive).

So .. just a hunch ... Tiger pulled a driving while doing the Ambien?
Sheesh Tiger ... stick with the CPAP mask and lay off the Ambien.

Glad he's okay ... love watching him play ...

Not sure how you get released from the hospital in "good" condition... suspect there are some other injuries also..

2:00 AM????, wanted to be first in line in the Point Jupiter Wal Mart, that 52" wide screen was too good to pass up..

I'm going with the arguing. I don't think she actually hears the accident as much as she's watching him drive away........because she's pissed and already has the golf club in her hand.
