"we do. His name is hobbs."
Huh???? Hobbs will never be a top 5 corner......the guy gets burned several times a game and should only be in there for certain packages......
It is no coincidence that Hobbs had a very good rookie season playing the left side. Declined when they swapped him to right side for Samuel who himself went from an average CB to a great CB after the switch. Now he is back on the left side and playing great again.
I always like Hobbs, but he has brought his game to a new level this year so far.
Hobbs has been playing lights out so far.
I do get nervous when I see him returning kicks, though. One bad hit and out secondary is in big trouble.
Hobbs is still playing the right side, and Hobbs didn't decline... he has been hampered by injuries, and unfairly criticized for plays that were mostly not his fault.
Thanks e, I momentarily thought I was losing it... LOL
Hobbs did fine against Croyle,Huard and a 38 year old Favre
BUT a few guys named Peyton Manning,Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Hasslebeck will be coming on the schedule soon to test him,But Hasslebeck may not have any receivers to throw to by then anyway
Hobs is much better in man coverage and they are playing a lot of man this year so far.
