Just read about the terrible tornado that hit Kansas last night.

Hope you and your loved ones are ok and our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Kansas at this difficult time.

thank you! they hit on the southwest part of the state, we are on the northeastern part just outside of KC. they tend to hit out in the open spaces, so there has only been one to touchdown in this area in the last 15 years. Still, it is so sad for the people affected by it and your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Greensburg is a very small town (2,000) close to the famous Dodge City, Kansas.

I know the town well. I used to harvest wheat there for many years.

The once largest hand dug well used to reside there.

What is ironic, I clearly remember all of the past tornado warnings.

Another tornado touched down in Arnett, Oklahoma.

I also know that town well as well...
