David Letterman - Donald Trump: Ties made in China - YouTube
in a similar story..... Romney and Trump getting tough on China.
unreal.....you wanna walk that back, or say you are sorry, or joking or something?
Good find ..........
i don't think things like this mean much
soooo many things are made in china and they're fine
odds are the obama hat falls apart much faster than the romney hat
i think this sums it up much better actually -

I'm curious....if someone was given permission to go through your house and check every item of your personal property, how much of it would have been made in China?
"does diabetes count as a product?"
Earlier this summer, in the wake of the U.S. Olympic made-in-China gear issue, each campaign made official proclamations that all their gear is manufactured in the U.S.A.
In other words, either your photo is a fake or the gear is unauthorized knock offs or something like that is causing you to be fooled. So I'm sorry, but your Daily Kos talking point du jour falls flat.
Here come the deflections ............ protect your own ... that's how they get away with things.
TONS of it, I'd be willing to bet its 99% of it.
Then again, I'm not running for president, raising hundreds of millions of dollars and spending it in China while claiming to be a job creator.
Thats Mitt Romney who is doing that...
i can't imagine ever giving a **** where something is made, that i buy lol
to me that's like asking "is this chicken free range?"
Yes it's true Mitt Romney is running for President. But, lest we let FACTS get in the way, the official Romney campaign is not manufacturing their gear in China.
Like many things made on China, they are knockoffs, not official caps approved by the campaign..
Were Romney-Ryan Caps Made in China? | wafflesatnoon.com
LOL......nope.....not at all......in fact, the unions helped make china....
well there ya go...end of story
either way, i LOVE chinese made products!
LOL.....your hypocrisy ends at the front door
For a "job creator" who is getting "tough on China" he sure knows how to export labor to China with american people's campaign contributions. A complete prick.
Mitt is cooking you a caged scramble, and calling it free-range Eggs benedict.
Im not really concerned about chicken, but all the corn I eat is free range
hey?? where does obama's ipad come from?
and why does he not have one of these?
How am I being a hypocrite?
I was unaware that I am running for president as a guy who cares about jobs, and will be getting tough oin china....but by all means, explain....
Exactly.....lol. Mitt bad....consumers like me.....just saving money.
Ah, the hubris of the defeated. You got fooled by some Daily Kos journal post, you came in here to throw it in all our faces, and it backfired on you big time. Now you're trying to salvage some dignity by changing the subject, without so much as a "gee, my bad, I guess he didn't do what I accused him of doing." :singing:
I'm a big boy, and can admit when I was mistaken. For a guy who outsourced the pins for the winter olympics to china, and headed a company who were pioneers in outsourcing, and who Donald Trump endorses, one can understand my confusion of the issue.
I'll say I'm sorry for being duped by the Chinese knockoffs.
To those Romney supporters, and to the Romney campaign, I say I'm sorry as well.
lol now he's chinese? i thought he was al quida?
obama is tough on china? he's had 4 years, and what has he done?
what difference does it make how tough any one is on china? you're still going to fill your house with made in china.
starts at home buddy....practice what you preach or appear to care about
I consciously strive to avoid buying "Made In China" as much as possible. Not only for political reasons, but for the simple fact that you never know what's in a lot of stuff from that country. Check out any dollar store and you come across some things that are sort of creepy -- like cheapo hand tools or kitchen utensils with rubber handles that give off an extremely strong odor.
Anyone remember this?
Welcome to China's Fake Apple Store
Uri Friedman 42,428 ViewsJul 20, 2011
When Apple announced record-high quarterly revenues and profits yesterday, COO Tim Cook noted that China--where the company's four stores bring in the most traffic and revenue of any Apple stores in the world--was "key to our results." That growing popularity among Chinese consumers, however, may also explain the incredible discovery an American living in Kunming, the capital of China's southwestern Yunnan Province, revealed on her blog, Bird Abroad, today: an elaborate and strikingly realistic fake Apple store.
Apparently even the employees working at those fake Apple stores had no idea they weren't legit.
On a serious note, this is a real problem. I shop online a lot, and in doing so frequent a lot of deal specific websites and forums like Slickdeals and Fatwallet. Over the last few years there have been more and more posters talking about knock off goods from China being sold online. One I remember specifically was a deal on razor blades (Mach 5's maybe), where posters were talking about "making sure they're legit" cuz some had purchased them and got chinese fakes.

Which one is the knock off?
Different blades but another example of knockoffs looking legit.
Iridium razor blades. Real on the left. Fake on the right.
Iridium razor blades. Real on the left. Fake on the right.
I'll try to look it up, but I could have sworn that during the Iraq war maybe, there was talk of some of the bolts on US military equipment breaking too easily, and that it ended up the bolts were actually chinese counterfiet bolts. Working off memory so.
China Big in Counterfeit Goods
By Mark Litke
B E I J I N G, China, April 21
China seems not only to make everything, it fakes just about everything as well.
China Big in Counterfeit Goods - ABC News
Nice video with this article.
Two and half million containers arrive here each year. Mixed in with legitimate cargo are knock-off iPhones and imitation Ugg boots churned out by Chinese counterfeiters.
"China is still our number-one source country for counterfeit and pirated goods. About 62 percent of our seizures are from China," said He*******.

because your so very familiar with this strategy yourself.
