I've been reading quite a lot of posts in numerous threads saying that we need 2 Wide Receivers.
I don't think thats the case at all. If Tate is any use he is a good no.4 at worst and it seems that nobody is considering Edelman as a proficient starter in the absence of his big brother Wes Welker.
We have all heard now that Randy Moss played hurt last season, he should be back to his best this year.
So for me at this time the Patriots have WR1 Randy Moss, WR3 Julian Edelman and we just need one more.
This year is not blessed with WRs in the draft, my own personal no.1 binkie is Golden Tate and I'd break the bank to get him but he is likely to go too high for us.
I feel that next year's draft is going to be a much better one for wideouts. One of AJ Green, Michael Floyd and Julio Jones could well be on the radar next year if the Raiders suck like normal.
This year we possibly need a no.2 or no.4 depending on Tate but do the Patriots really want to pay out big money for a no.2 going forward with a chance to take a franchise wideout next season?
