The sun stops in the sky and begins it's trek back North at 12:30 am tomorrow (Dec 22) to mark the beginning of winter and the eternal cycle of darkness and light. Pretty cool, huh? But did you notice there's no references to the Winter Solstice any more? The panty-waist slobbering politically-correct whiners have all but removed the holiday from public displays and stores. No one ever say "Happy Solstice" anymore because they've been told not to. If you say it out loud, people just look at you strangely. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned traditions? Humans have been celebrating the Solstice since the beginning of history, but now the Nanny State has all but killed it. well, I don't know about you, but when someone says "Happy Holidays" to me, I'm responding with an unashamed "Happy Solstice to you, too!" Damn hippies!
