I'm actually handling this terrible news pretty well considering the impact. We've obviously had our share of positive success over the years but I'm not sure if I could even concieve two games in any sport that have been more crushing.

I won't bother going into these games but can you think of any team or individual athlete that experienced anything close to what the Pats have?

Yes there are entire teams that have actually been killed in auto and plane crashes on their way to or from events (and I certainly don't consider this tragic in that sense at all) but I'm just talking about on the field stuff.

Hey, misery loves company right?

How about the Yankees in 2004? That was four in a row!!

SoCal I think you just put your finger on why this feels so crappy.

Plus, think of Moss's decision to re-sign with New England, Bruschi's decision to keep playing, O'Neal's decsion to come here, etc. etc.

Yes, in my lifetime, yes.

Pats history? Maybe....
Sports history? No.. I lived thru Games 6 and 7 in 1986 with the Red Sox...............rather I survived....

Wait a minute, didn't we WIN yesterday? Your premise is that yesterday's loss of Brady spells doom for the rest of this season. The jury's still out on that.
