most of u guys must have seen this before...............

Here's who the Pats will be facing in the 08 season. Dates of the games won't be released at least for two months. We have to play the AFC & NFC West divisions so that means a lot of traveling (four west coast games in fact).

WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE PATRIOTS ROSTER WILL LOOK LIKE NEXT YEAR. This is ridiculous and not worthy of what this site is/USED TO BE.

Pre-season death of a teamate, SpyGate, needing to convert 3 4th downs in a hostile windy road situation, overcoming the refs and the Colts @ the RCA dome and playing 4+ weeks without Rodney/Seymour and we're alright.

But a few west coast road trips, oh no!

And do not forget that at one time the NFL talked about that Denver home game as an Edmonton game...which would REALLY stink...in all actuality, 2 West coast games together would HELP teh travel not hurt...If they DO win the next two..look for Steelers here to open the season..

Do you think if the SF and OAK games were back to back, BB would consider setting up camp for the team in the Bay area for the week?

Dont you think the NFL will send us to SD first Thursday of the season? Don't they try to replay one of the AFCCG or NFCCG matchups to start the season>?

If we take care of business this week and in two weeks, we will open at home on a Thursday night... Maybe they will schedule the team that helped establish a dynasty - the Rams. Won't be the JETS again, and the won't waste a Steelers matchup on opening night.

No, they would travel. They need to be home for all their prep, staying on the road would be way too disruptive.

Do we still have China looming for the pre season, or was that postponed indefinitely...

Those home games are horrific. I'll go to the one against the Steelers. Why are they here two years in a row and the Pats in Indy two years in a row?

Because of the asinine way the NFL schedules the 1-vs.-1 (etc.) matches.

Basically, the schedule for the AFC East goes like this:

2007 v. AFC West, @AFC South
2008 v. AFC North, @AFC South
2009 v. AFC North, @AFC West
2010 v. AFC South, @AFC West
2011 v. AFC South, @AFC North
2012 v. AFC West, @AFC North

Lather, rinse, repeat. [And guess what folks--since the Pats have to play the AFC South in 2009, and they played the game in NE in 2006, that means it's @IND, @IND, @IND.] :bricks:

If we go undefeated again what do you think the fantasy asterisk will be for?
