LOL Let me know how that goes over with her.
Ok, you've got me on that one. I don't understand it, either. Nor would I ever even consider spending that much money on a main wardrobe piece, much less an accessory.
We had a neighbor here in DC once. She was a dancer at one of the local strip clubs who'd been fired. She asked me to go with her to the welfare office. Once we were there and they called her name she tossed her hair, looked at me and frantically whispered, "Quick, change purses with me. Mine's Prada - they'll never believe I'm poor unless I'm carrying your ****ty little bag."
This was just wrong on so many different levels.
1) She's assuming that the caseworker will even recognize "Prada." Most ordinary people don't.
2) She's ticking me off. I mean, come-on, I'm her ride and her free lunch later on and all she wants to do is let me know that not only am I carrying a cheap purse, it looks cheap, too.
3) In reality, my "****ty little bag," was prettier than her's and probably held 5X the money and I'm not the one applying for welfare because I couldn't hold a job that required nothing more than showing up and taking my clothes off.
End of rant.
I always look at womens feet.
You and Rex Ryan.
Just some of Imelda Marcos 3000+ pairs of shoes.
Lmfao, wtf? Women actually wear those to swim? lol jk. But are those actually real?
It's about chasing prestige and status. Though to be fair guys do it all the time with cars, watches, or other types of bling.
They cost that much because some people will pay that much.
I don't understand it, either, though.
We used to live next door to an out-of-work stripper. One day she asked me to take her to the welfare office so she could apply for medicaid. When we got there, she suddenly got hysterical, dragged me in the bathroom and demanded that we switch purses. When I asked her why she got all exasperated and said,' Mine is Prada - it cost like $800.00. If they see it, they might not give me welfare - but if I'm carrying yours, they'll know I need help.."
I'm like "Okkkkkkkkk. And I gave you a ride here today because?????"
Personally, I liked my purse a lot better than I liked her purse - and I doubt that everyone knows exactly who makes what purse/shoe/boot and how much it costs. Some women, do, sure - the women it matters to - but I think there's a whole lot of females out there that couldn't give a damn.
When I met my wife I said to her, "you like CFM's" as she was wearing yellow high heels.. never said that again. Luckily she married me.
The only shoe I care about is preferably Reeboks!
I like first one but nothing special in second one.
The shoes which are shared Mrs.PatsFanInVa are looking so nice as well as trendy. Nice choice, I appreciate and would like to wear such if got a chance. I am searching such shoes at online store and hope I will find it soon.
Very nice shoes you are bringing up!
