I've been following this story ... also never believed the original story.
Such a tragic event ... now her sons and their family go through their anguish all over again ... imagine if they trace it to the queen ... ouch.
I don't believe most of these stories regarding high ranking officials... they have gotten "cleaner" since JFK, RFK and MLK...
This needs to be left. I don't believe any of it.
Just leave her to rest in peace and leave her family to continue with their lives as normal.
I'm completely sure they did it/it wasn't an accident.
She made the Royals look bad, had a long affair with James Hewitt and he probably got her pregnant.
She started dating a muslim and he also got her pregnant and the Royals wouldn't have it. So they killed her. Most people here believe it.
I'm not sure I could care less about Princess Diana. I still remember the bouquets of flowers being left in front of a very exclusive clothing store on Newbury Street in Boston (where I guess she had shopped) in memory of her. That says it all in my opinion.
That said, I happened to have been online in the wee hours of the morning when she was killed, so I was among the first to know. And the early reports made it clear that the driver was moving at recklessly high speeds as reported by the paparazzi who were trying to follow them. I find it hard to believe there's a conspiracy. Besides, why would anyone really care that much about Princess Diana?
I hate the obsession with the Royals, they are just normal people, infact, they've all never worked a day in their lives and live off taxpayers money.... exactly what everyone who worships them hate.
They cared about her for the reasons I listed above, she was a loose cannon. She made the Royals and the Queen look bad. I'm almost certain there is a conspiracy/they killed her. It wouldn't be the first time the British Government done something dirty and covered it up...
The fact that one of the most modern nations has a queen, princes and princesses who can live rent free in a castle but have no power is TOTALLY fugged up.
Why aren't Brits embarassed about this?
Because maybe ... just guessing it's tradition and they raise a ton of money for charities.
To me, it's a sickening tradition to watch people fawn over ordinary people who truly shouldn't be interesting to anyone.
Many nations had royalty but they've moved on.
Golf raises far more money for charity....so that reason's not good enough.
I'm technically British, but I'm really Scottish. A lot of people are embarrassed by it and hate the Royals (me)
Never could understand all that fawning over Diana, she's dead, we're all going to be dead some day. I don't blame her for dumping Charlie he's the biggest Jerk in England, that Bowel women he married is no bargain either.
I see the Royals as Britain's version of celebrity. It's an attraction, very good for tourism.
They cost @ $51 million
They generate @ $767 million in tourism.
ehh ... doesn't matter to me but why fix it if it ain't broke.
Who cares, they dress up in their funny little uniforms and skirts and ride their horses around and the goofy public goes out blows kisses at them.
My sources tell me that the guy they caught in the Queens bedroom a couple of years ago was wearing the Queens underwear and that the Queen had his underwear on her head.
Prince Charlie and Camoola Bowels slept through the whole thing, they were drunk.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
Something called tradition. Something called tourism. Something called raising a ridiculous amount of money for charity.
The royals hardly sit around and do nothing.
The trooping of the colours, the royal jubilees...all of these are spectacular events which remind us of our heritage and great history.
Are you embarrassed at celebrating YOUR heritage? Just because my heritage is different to yours, why should I be embarrassed? I'd be more embarrassed about the narrow mindedness of your post.
Sometimes your own fellow countrymen and women seem to love them more than we do.
As for Diana, I've never believed the theories. All the great events in history have people bent on stirring up these dumb conspiracies. The odd one might have some credence but very few.
Thank God for our founding fathers and the revolutionary war vets.
