Two 3rds for BRANDON MARSHALL?!?!?!

BB WHYYYYYYYYYYYY

edit: JK, he may be really good but crazy contract and he's crazy himself.

doublesuper edit: Then again he's a top 10 WR and a top 5 WR with a real QB.

PM + PG + RW + DC = Miami Colts

Maybe they intend to go after Wayne or Garcon.

Brandon Marshall here in Chicago with his old friends Cutler (and "passing" coordinator Jeremy Bates) could make the Bears offense very interesting for only two third round picks (which the team bombs on anyways).

Chicago is desperate for receivers. Good move by them.....but riddle me this? If Miami is serious about making a play for Manning - shouldn't they shore up the recieving corps?

Perhaps they are planning on signing Reggie Wayne to replace him?

more talent out of the division

Manning reportedly didn't want to play with him..

PS. This isn't the sanctioned trade thread. It's only the sanctioned free agent thread :bricks:

So, does this mean Manning and pal(s) to the Fins is more likely since DB is gone and more $$ is available?

This move effects the FA moves to come - for sure, it's valid IMO.

If that's true, we have four teams divesting themselves of costly players in the hopes of getting Manning and paying him what he deserves. Three of them are going to be very disappointed.

Rapoport just tweeted that Lombardi just said on TV no Flynn for the Dolphins. FWIW.

I still think the Broncos and Cardinals are the front-runners... in that order.

The dark horse are the Titans with the Phins bringing up the rear.

Honestly, it will be hilarious if pursuing Manning for naught forces them to wipe the proverbial egg off their face by scrambling (no pun intended) for a contingency plan as bad as the Jets with Sanchize. Trading away their best offensive player was a good start, IMO. :singing:

Tavares Gooden is a 49er. Tampering much?

Edit: Just kidding! He was already a 49er. "Former Raven" apparently meant two seasons ago.

I may very well still eat crow but I've always felt that PM was taking his talents to South Beach.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but Cowboys released Terrence Newman CB. Another Bites'da Dust!

Has any writer said anything about pats interest in Lloyd?

Sounds like Meachem is off the market.

Deus pointed it out. At 33, might be a good nickel guy. Hes has a good career.
