There was a lot of confidence when Ryan was introduced, however did not seem to produce much of a VP bump for the Romney ticket...

Obama the incumbent is stuck at 43-45%, which is around hi approval number not much to bump.

What is going to move his approval up to 50%, what is going to change in the public's perception of obama?

Americans Continue to Give Obama Low Marks on the Economy

60% disapprove of his handling of the economy.

Are you incapable of discussing the merits/liablities of Ryan??

Read somewhere that Ryan is a Rage Against the Machine Fan?? That does not fit all that well..

"They use force to make you do, what the deciders have decided what you should do"..... Killing in the name of.

"Fock you I won't do what they tell me"....

Tells you how superficial these polls are.
The Romney camp has made over 10 mill. in new contributions since the pick. The average doantion has been under 100$

What people knew of Paul Ryan was negative because of the press thats already changing in a positive direction the more he is out there.
He hasn't had a spike in popularity but a steady increase which results in a real bump.

here is a pretty balanced article.

Ryan energizes the Tea Party folks who were lukewarm on Romney, it is a signal that Romney might govern as a conservative rather than a RINO.

However it doesn't fundamentally alter the race.

If the majority of Republicans are more center than extreme right, aren't they the RINO's????

This would denote a majority view, and the rest something else...

I've seen some articles pertaining to the Ryan advantage. Most notably Wisconsin is now a swing state. Ryan also went to school in Ohio, which might affect some voting. Typically, I do get a tidbit from this forum which I then google, but lately it's deflection and trivial. I understand the right being pumped for Mitt choosing a conservative, but I see more and more news about Mitt quieting his chooser's convictions. That statement is confirmed by Republican analysts.

Wait, wait. An Obama pollster is saying that there is no Ryan bump? So... an Obama pollster is trying to communicate the exact message the campaign wants. And we're supposed to debate this? Give me a break.
