The Pats have 1st refusal rights on Sauerbrun

If his problems can stay in the past, I have no problem with him being our punter.

Let them all compete for the job and the best punter wins....

A "negotiated right of first refusal" is unusual, no? Can we assume it was part of the terms of the contract he signed last year?

What's wrong with Miller?

Miller was kicking terrible last season, he went on IR with an injury, I dunno if he will be better next season, but right now i'd rather have Sauerbrun.

Sauerbrun was the co-MVP of the San Diego game. Without his booming punts in the 1st half the Pats may have been in a hole they couldn't have recovered from. Keep him. Let bygones be bygones. Guy has said and done all the right things so far. Clearly has one of the best legs in the game.
