Anyone know what it is? Is it up yet?

I thought it would be Pats -1. A week ago I think it was Pats -3. I'm not so sure that isn't going to go up to Pats -5.

the over/under should be about 80

I'm not sure what it is, however with the home field advantage for the Colts I think it should be around 5 points.

The reason why the line is only 4 points is because Polian just called an emergency meeting of the competition committee and passed a new rule that mandates the Patriots give every team they play a 24 point head start.

That's skewed the line - though seeing that the Patriots have beaten every opponent by 25.5 points, we should still be able to win, just not cover the spread for once.

(Think about that folks - on average if the Patriots spotted EVERY team they've played a three touchdown and 1 FG lead, we'd STILL be 8-0.)

Sportsbook.com lists it at Patriots -4.5, both Caesars and the Mirage.

The line would have to get to close to 10 for me to take the Colts.

I saw an interesting question on the Colts board. Has there ever been a time that an undefeated Super Bowl champ has been a clear underdog at home this late in the season?

I saw that. Should make for GREAT bulletin board material for the Colt's.

You really can't take the betting line too seriously (unless you are betting the game). The Pats are not only undefeated, they are 8-0 against the spread (I think?). That is unheard of this late in the season. Particularly with the insane amount of points the Pats have been giving.

Betters play trends and the trends say you get punished for betting against the Pats. To get an equal number of Colts/Pats money, the line will be skewed to get the anti-Pats bets to the table.

Assuming everyone is heathy, this is pretty much an even game. It will be situational football and making plays. Personally I think the return game will be the difference. Big swing in field position and maybe even a return TD.

If that's the case, then you guys have a big leg up.

Betting lines are rarely used for BB material. It's just a reflection of which way the betting is weighted. Nothing like a direct quote from a player or some ESPN talking head.

In some ways, I'm disappointed that the league isn't more competitive this year. I feel like the only game worth getting psyched for is the Colts game. Any other Pats or Colts fans feel the same way?

It's almost sad.

Watch these humble Colts fans, they're dangerous! ;)

They're trying to pull the over-humble act on us for good luck, so maybe we should start returning the favor.

Nah, I think overall the Colts look like the stronger team...especially with the edge in QB that you have on us.

What is really a bummer is that during the week instead of having a whole game to re-watch and review, now anything after halftime is pretty anticlimactic.
