    They don't.

WE merge the threads together into one from many.

Believe me, this is an E Pluribus Unum thread! :D

That being said, we've had some discussion on the Mod/Admin board about this and it's agreed that since Hernandez is no longer a Patriot and the season is now in week 4, the Pub would be a better place for this thread as the ongoing legal updates happen.

Perhaps during the offseason, we can bring this back onto the main forum.

Thank you moderators! I'm glad to see this thread OFF the main forum. Aaron Hernandez is fading from my consciousness and this helps continue that welcome process.

Nice. The Pub is always a great way to kill off a thread. I support the mods on this one. :D

And now Hernandez's girlfriend has (unsurprisingly) been dragged in:

If Clinton didn't have to serve any time for perjury, while CIC & President of the United States, why should anyone else?

    Finally found this.

Ironic that on a day with 3 MAJOR developments (indictments) that the mods cave to the few whiners and move this single well disciplined thread with tons of posts off into oblivion.

    Massive fail, mods.

I assume that you'll do the same when other topics as often get out of control. Probably not though.

Holy crap, a witness. Hernandez will spend the rest of his life behind razor ribbon and high walls...

Another story to substantiate this claim..

Witness claims Aaron Hernandez pulled trigger in 2012 Boston double shooting | Fox News

It gets even more bizarre, as the guy who Hernandez allegedly shot in Florida(Bradley) was also in AH car for this incident, another accessory to murder??

Guess Bradley will not be able to proceed with his lawsuit....

Re: Police closing in on AH's 2x murder

Meh. They've been saying the same thing since one week after he was arrested. I'm not trying to defend Hernandez in any way, but it seems to me they don't have enough to charge him and they are trying to smoke someone or something out.

If they did he would have been charged already.

Re: Police closing in on AH's 2x murder

I don't think they will ever be able to pin those two murders on him unless they find the murder weapon. Even then, it will be really had to prove he was the trigger man or even in the car when they shooting happened.

I think he probably did it, but proving it in a court of law after a year and who know how many people being in or having access to the vehicle since that night, I don't know how they will prove that he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Odin Lloyd case doesn't look like a slam dunk, but still is a much stronger case.

Re: Police closing in on AH's 2x murder

Regardless of whether Hernandez can be convicted of the 2012 murders, the investigation is important for the Pats in terms of salary cap implications, because the events preceded Hernandez' 2012 contract:

Patriots Possibly Recoup Hernandez Signing Bonus - Pats Pulpit

I think it's fair to say that if the Pats had known that Hernandez was a possible suspect in the 2012 case, they would never have given him that $40M extension, and he would have still been playing under his rookie contract when arrested in the Odin Lloyd case.

They have the murder weapon from the double murder, found it in the trunk of a car, recently I believe.
