I'm curious, do any of you really hate the Jets? Or do you now look at them as a younger brother that you love to pick on?

3. Richard Nixon resigned

4. Gerald Ford pardoned him

12. Cable TV was invented

13. The personal computer was invented

14. The internet was invented

13. We have had two presidents named George Bush

14. We had the Iran Contra Affair and the Whitewater investigation

15. We have had about 8 recessions

16. A president (Clinton) was impeached

18. The Boston Red Sox won the World Series! :D

The Boston Red Sox won the World Series?

Green Bay Green is a football color, Jets Green is not

I have never seen a woman in the stands at a Jets home game on TV. Not once. I assume because they don't feel safe there.

I think the guy who holds Fireman Ed on his shoulders likes the feel of a man sitting on the back of his neck

Nah, I pretty much hate em.

Belichick told them to %#$#&^ themselves and decided to coach the Pats instead.

I saw that thread on Jetsinsder.com. It was vulgar and juvenile, just like all the Jets fans. I feel sorry for them because they have no class, think they're tough and funny, and their football team stinks year after year. GO PATS!!

Sorry to be a negative voice. If the Pats passing game isn't a heck

of a lot better than in the Buffalo game, the Jets will win.

Why do you say that? The Buffalo D is far superior to the Jets D. Much better pass rush, better corners, etc. The JETS don't have a runner like McGahee on offense and Penny is not as agile as Losman and doesn't have his strong arm.

So, why is the anemic passing attack MORE of a concern against a weaker opponent???

I despise their very existance

I hate them almost as much as Dan Marino and the filth he played for.
Jets fans in general are pathetic in their righteousness.
What has that team done in the last 30 years to warrent anything other than contempt and pity?
They make me sick!

Well, I can only speak for myself. They are no longer on my top 5 most hated teams.

But, I started this thread as show of understanding for the miserable exsistance that it must be to be a Jets fan.

I feel their pain and on Sunday night I hope that they have some more pain tha I can feel for them.

The New York Jets fans put up at auction their field goal kicker on E-Bay!

Till they win a Super Bowl THEY SUCK PERIOD!!!

Actually, the game that they won was officially called the AFL-NFL World Championsip Game. The official name of Super Bowl was not until the merger took place in the 1970 season.

Yes, it was called a Super Bowl for publicity purposes but that was not he technical name.

So, technically the Jets have nevr been to or won a Super Bowl.

Another reason to feel sorry for Jets fans:NO CHEERLEADERS

Every year at the NFL draft, overweight 40 something guys with mustaches are seen loudly cheering the Jets pick and holding up one finger signaling their team is number one.

The Jets have not been number one since these guys hit puberty. Its sad and, yes, reason to feel sorry for them.

And I hope to feel sorry for Jet fans for many years to come.

Hi all,

Been lurking for a long time, decided it is was time to join the fun.

Feel sorry for them because the are the Jets. All my inlaws are Jets fans, and as my father in law says, everything that ends in ets (Mets, Nets, Jets) stink.

But, I do respect the fact that he does stick by them.

Just like a lot of us that stick by the Pats.

Losing Penny yet AGAIN when teams figure out after their Week 2 loss that the Jets cannot run the ball and begin teeing off on him.

No, my mother did not sleep with that fireman guy.
And damn you for even suggesting it!
