Dennard pulled his hamstring at the end of the game???...missed that....this secondary is getting thin

Yeah I totally missed Dennard's injury too.

I was focused on Talib's, which doesn't initially appear to be anything too bad, and also on Justin Francis doing a leapfrog over the pile of players and rolling through poor Arrington, who went to the ground.

These were obviously the downsides to the game for us.

Special moment: Tom Brady runs for a first down late in the game, gets up and emphatically signals a first down in the middle of the field, triggering a cascade of cheers and chants of 'MVP'. That was something, almost like a microcosm of Brady's career and what he has done for us, it was beautiful.

I'm sure I'll get all hell for even insinuating this comment, but there was a point where I truly saw Brady walking/jogging a bit gingerly.

You could actually debate whether you can see some stiffness when he picks up the first down on the scramble there in the .gif in the post above me with his right leg.

Obviously it's nothing more than the usual bumps and bruises this time of year brings, but I will admit that I was slightly concerned as he continued to get banged around a bit too much for awhile.

remember when people were trying to brand him a dirty player because of that fluke injury to Trent Edwards (or whichever JAG QB the Bills had at that point)? Talk about a total misrepresentation.

It was JP Losman, not that anyone could possible blame you for forgetting that he ever existed.

When Talib went down, I thought he just had the wind knocked out of him. Presumably more serious than that, since he was held out for the rest of the game, but hopefully not too bad.

Francis' late hit on Arrington was definitely a weird one too - probably my only facepalm moment of the game. Couldn't figure out what he was trying to do; very lucky that he didn't seriously hurt his teammate well after the whistle.

Yeah, we'd clearly be screwed playing a team we beat by 28 points.

I remember another Monday Night rout a couple of years ago...beat that team by 42 points. Second meeting didn't work out quite so well.

on a side not i got absolutely robbed in fantasy football... i was up by 2.68 points and i had the patriots defence.... figures shiancoe and mallet go in and trash shaincoe lets the ball hit off his chest only to get intercepted..... Anyways yates got a touchdown after the int so i lost 3 points... and ultimately lost by .32... OMG

Solid game by both sides of the ball, glad to see devin balling as a safety.

Yeah I have been up in arms about the whole Schiancoe thing so far too, and not from a fantasy football standpoint.

If our backup TE's in Fells and Schiancoe were worth a damn this team would be that much better. It's great to see the solid blocking though from Hooman tonight, which was a huge plus.

How bout the sick play of Talib and Dennard??!!! JEEEEEZUS..some incredible coverage

However, the second Arrington comes into the game to play on an island, you know its gonna be yellow flag city lol. Even on that 3rd and 4 play he broke up legally and perfectly, I was waiting for the flag and celebrated like we scored a TD when there was no flag thrown. That's how awful it is for me watching Arrington, you just anticipate that yellow flag being show on the upper left of the TV screen after every play he's involved with.

Yeah, while we're all obviously very pleased by the proper gameplanning, execution, and well...lucky breaks at times, I would not take as much out of it as some are.

It was a whooping and that is awesome, but the Texans are a lot better than they played.

That said, this team here is looking very nice lately, and the defense has really stepped it up. They should be very proud of their accomplishments to date with an eye towards securing that first round bye.

I wouldn't look too much into the final score though, as I still think that Houston has the potential to hang with just about anyone.

Arrington has played much better recently since being moved back to the slot, where he is a lot better.

There is an article about him and his better play of late on the homepage.

Not to mention this was done without arguably the best receiving (and best TE in the league) threat and best non-o-linemen blocker on the team.

I don't know if it showed on the tube, but big Vince damn near had another INT tonight...he's just such a freak...do you realize the pounding he takes all night and yet he just keeps grinding every play...the decision to sign him, in hindsight, looks Einsteinian....and another thing...I cried all season for the first half about the lack of blitzing...I guess they finally decided to unleash one of the linebackers every other play, and tonight it was our main man Mayo....I really believe his hits took Schaub's heart away in the third quarter...I CANNOT wait to see the tape of this game.

where do you get the tape from?

Alot of this on texans board

These refs are ridiculous. I see what you all mean by biased. Pathetic. Amazed no penalty on that run.

A few more variations to have fun with....

Re: REay

JJ Watt and Rob Gronkowski are one in the same. They are the next decade's power players on O and D.

I was having this thought yesterday as well. They are the offensive and defensive versions of eachother.
