It's PI. That has always been PI. The argument that it wasn't PI is laughable. But let's say it wasn't.

Illegal contact isn't debatable. And that's the even more laughable part. Pats should've had another play.

The pass was catchable..not illegal contact since ball was in the air...contact on 87 occurs prior to interception. It's a foul and called!

As bad as that call was, how about the defense? D was putrid! Reminded me of the Jets game when the D made Geno look like an All-Pro!

What "success" you guys haven't won **** in 9 years...the dynasty has been over for years...so sick hearing about the genius Belichick and Brady...it has been 9 years...

You hear about the genius because of their success. If they weren't having success, people wouldn't be referring to them as geniuses. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Genius.

2. Wrong to say it's uncatchable. Ball would have landed 1 foot from Gronkowski's feet without being picked. Kuechly interfered.

3. @MikePereira: "Clear contact ... They should have stayed with the call."

A few thoughts after the end of this game: 1. Gerry Austin says it's OK for an LB to faceguard a TE with the ball in the air. That is wrong.

He wasn't face guarding he was bear hugging.

Nate has no common sense. Just ignore the troll that makes himself like a fool. They never understand the facts, the understand opinion.

Good bye. Enjoy your home cooking. ****

Thats worse than what McCourty did !!! Way worse !!!

Gerry Austin is never going against his boys ... its the good ol boy network. He will never say on national TV the official made a mistake. Forget the face guarding Kuechly had two arms wrapped around him before the ball was intercepted. A crucial F*7Kup by the officials. The McCourty penalty was joke too! Olson grabbed McCourty's arm and pinned it to his side and sold that call. Absolute crap!

If that defense shows up next week, the game will be over by halftime. FFS, even Gruden and Young are sticking up for the Pats here saying that was a PI.

5. Gerry Austin is delusional.

I am just completely disgusted.

6. Jon Gruden is right. If that's not interference, I'm Kate Moss.

RT @RefereeJimD: Austin is incorrect with his explanation...that ball was catchable and saying it was uncatchable is incorrect.

I bet the conversation in the ref huddle before they picked up the flag went something like this, "Why the heck did you throw the flag? Just say there's no foul or they'll never let us out of here alive."

Weird final call or non-call or whatever that was. Brady, Steve Young, Gruden are all right - the call was a crock.

Carolina 3 point favorite. Carolina wins by 4. Bizarre final play. Flag picked up. Back Judge overruled. What a surprise.

My thoughts..Since the flag was thrown they should have stayed with the call. There was clear contact before the ball was intercepted. More.

Our complete offense can lay 49 on Denver. I'm expecting a basketball score, not a blowout.

that is exactly right. How can an illegal contact be called on a player who is on the other side of a field, a player not even be thrown to...BUT this wasn't illegal contact on Gronk? How does that make any sense. You can't say he couldn't have caught the ball, that has nothing to do with illegal contact.
