Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations both prior and during today's Patriots vs Jag's game.

There have been some down grades of Patriots players per Reiss:https://twitter.com/MikeReiss

The three downgrades are injury-related: CB Alfonzo Dennard (knee), TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm) and Brandon Spikes (knee/ankle).

Let's hope for a good game with no injuries and a Patriots victory.

A solid Patriots win and no injuries would make this a wonderful day.

Oh, and wins by the Chiefs and Bengals would be great too. :)

Couple of quick strikes by Brady then a lot of ground and pound and ball security practice.

Love to see Chefs beat the Colts, but a Browns win in Denver would be even nicer.

You forgot the Vikings as well

Inactives to be announced around 11:30 a.m. ET. Those who watched CB Aqib Talib (hip) warm up on field have doubts he will play.

And miracles are supposed to happen at Christmas time, right? :singing:

Not looking good for the secondary today. McCourty will most likely slide back to CB. Just hope the team gets healthy for the playoffs

Wonderful. . . . :nooo:

Off into enemy territory at 12:30 , a Bears bar, to catch the game here on the FL islands. Lotsa New Yawkiz there too. Given the clientele, it will be just like reading the game thread. :)

The Jags have just 2 real threats to score...Shorts and Blackmon

Even this secondary should reasonably handle those two

Heh. My favorite pub up here, Byrne's Irish Pub, is owned by a former Master Chief. He's also originally from New Yawk and a JEST fan. It kills him to have to show Pats games on his flat screens. :D

As to today, with the Browns playing the Broncos, for one day I can be a Browns fan. :rocker:

You're either disrespecting Shorts & Blackmon a great deal or have faith in Arrington turning into Revis and McCourty slotting right back in at corner like he never moved to safety.

Have fun, everyone. I gotta finish some tasks here before game time. I'll see you all afterward.

GO PATS!!!!!!!

We need 84 points to break the 2007 record. Extremely possible.....today :)

They are the best players on a bad team...not much more to say other than that this secondary has faced much better threats this season.

Not saying those two won't get their yards, but they are the only real threats to change what should be a 14-24 point win.

Talib is active today

Talib is active today

Now that's what I like to hear!

Score a ton of points on them early and pull some of the more important players and give them a rest - on both sides of the ball.

Should be an easy win...unless the fans overlook this team
