I loved the elevated play of the secondary today. Definate improvement with still room for improvement but today was a big sign that things are getting better.

Vince Wilfork is a beast. The things he did on the field today are just not seen when it comes to probowl voting. There isn't a defensively tackle in this league id rather have. Period.

Ninkovich was a force today. He was held all day and still induced pressure.

Cunningham stepped up nice with Jones out. Hope the ankle is ok.

Not to speak so soon but I'm glad Edelman stepped up while welker was in the game. He was finally able to step out of the white shadow comparison role if only for a week. Its only 1 big game but its the first game of life without Branch. BB needed production out of the number 2 and Edelman delivered.

My last thought was on Gronkowski and how Hernandez will have to step up in the coming weeks. This offense can still beat anyone with either or but it would of been nice to see them on the field together healthy. I'm glad BB is psychotic when it comes to tight ends being placed in his stables.

Not to buzzkill, but Ridley was a terrible 13 for 28 with a 2.2 ypc... he was utilized a ton on 1st and 2nd down and got stuffed multiple times, killing the offensive momentum. Terrible day. Any explanations?

I'm guessing having both starting OG's out had something to do with it. Call it a hunch :)

As mentioned, both starting guards were out and their replacements weren't doing well in the run blocking inside. On numerous plays, they actually got blown up and the Colt's DTs were in the backfield to meet Ridley.

Umm.. Ridley wasn't used that much on 1st and 2nd downs during the game because of the issues that Thomas and McDonald were having.

My mistake. I thought you wanted to discuss this stuff. I didn't realize you wanted to just post really idiotic attacks. I'll just consider us done on this thread.

I was discussing things. You made a factually incorrect statement, got called on it, and then you tried to change what you said.

What was idiotic was your attempt to change your stance. Especially when you blast people for doing the same thing.

it's amazing how good this secondary looks when the Pats blitz...then when they rush three, nobody is five yards close to any receiver...weird

The Pats blitzed more because they had more confidence in the corners to hold up against their men while playing press-man.

I wasn't wrong, you were. Not only that, you chose to behave like an ass. You've continued it here. Back to the ignore list with you. See you at the draft.

Here's the opening post by a Colts Freak moderator....thought, since no Colt fans returned to state their opinions, I'd put up the opinion by a self appointed tsar of Colts fans....#15 is pretty revealing...Brady sukks and didn't really doi anything of note yesterday..heh...I get this picture of some guy dressed in blue repeatedly sticking an ice pick in his forehead at the terminal

Default thoughts on the game against the gayass pats

1) andrew luck was bad. i know he is a rookie. so spare me that ****. a bad game is a bad game. the pick to wayne was horrible. put some heat on that. you had room and time. too many forced throws when he had room to run. he is athletic. he really needs to start tucking it and running after 2.5 seconds

2) i expect to see at least 7 idiots say that luck is a rookie and blah blah blah about his mistakes

3) i get why brown is on the bench. he made some nice plays today but he is limited in his all around game

4) we need an austin collie. gbb called avery redundant and i said he was ******ed. he is somewhat right. which is why i dont want to sign wallace. we need another slot guy that is sure handed and crisp in his routes. i am not against bringing back avery and letting him and hilton be our speed guy. i dont see hilton as a starter. although he did have a decent game

5) julian edelman is a ***** ass *****

6) the line was alright. not great but not bad. satele was much better than i thought he would be. luck consistently had time to make his reads or bail. he should have chosen to bail more often

7) freeney looked good early in the game. mathis was almost invisible the whole game. not sacking brady is a sin. the olbers failed. and i am ready to admit that freeney is a pass rush specialist at this point. yes he can set an edge but he is not a guy that will make open field tackles. which i figured

8) our dline cant make plays. we have nobody that can beat 1 on 1's other than redding and they dont come often. this is our defenses biggest problem. no inside pressure at all. we dont get close

9) i like freeman. he wasnt a stand out today but i like him as a player. if we can get a 7th out of angerer i say do it

10) i have no idea what gbb is thinking when he dogs butler this game. the missed tackle must have pissed him off because otherwise he was pretty solid.

11) vaughns run support was horrible. not very physical at all. i was not happy

12) the safeties were horrible. once again

13) shocked to see that our linebackers actually had decent coverage on gronk for the most part. sure they completed passes because of great passes but i imagined gronk running wide open all game long. that didnt happen

14) this team will struggle to win 3 more games. be prepared

15) brady is very overrated. did he really do much to get that offense going? nope.
