I'll start by nominating Price and Slater to stay, and we have no use for Tate.

we need more roster space

Fletcher seems to have solidified his position so far.

So what do we do with a Farnum?!

Ridley can stay, too.

No disrespect to Farnham but he is just a camp body. If the unthinkable happens and both Welker and Edelman go down, he'll get called up mid season.

Just another guy to have on the speed dial.

I hope we weren't cutting our rookie 3rd round pick.

Buddy is gone though, sorry. Practice squad if we're lucky.

I know it's early, but I'm seeing some good problems on this team.

Both backup QBs look very solid, Hoyer we already knew about, Mallet's first game looking great so far.

Where do I even start at running back? We know that BJGE is solid, I'd say above average, Woodhead is something special every time he touches the ball. Ridley seems like he breaks the first tackle every time, he's tough to wrap up. He can also get unbelievably low to the ground and keep his balance. I'm very impressed.

I think BJGE will be the work horse, Woodhead will be the 3rd down and passing back, Ridley will see a lot of goal line work.

Tight ends look great, we didn't see Gronk tonight but from all reports in training camp, he's embarrassing the defense. Hernandez had some fumble problems early but he sure can move. Yeatman had some nice grabs too. I don't recall seeing Smith.

Wide Receivers ...Price wants a spot. That's for sure, kid looks fast.

We should rename this to "who is most likely to become a Jet in a few weeks"? :D

Really like what I saw from Ridley and Price today.

Price, Slater & Fletcher were all on my pre-camp roster and I presume most others' too, so I hardly count them.

2 past draft picks who have been lightly regarded by everybody (including me) and surprised me today: Orhnberger and Richard.

My 53 changes:

Out: Yeatman, Tarpinian
In: Medlin, White

But everyone on this board told me we wasted a 3rd round pick on a short yardage RB. Do you mean he is actually a legitimate player, like that special teamer we wasted a #1 on last year:rolleyes:

Can we please bring the Darius Butler Era to an end?

Tate's got some ground he needs to make up.

I'm kind of curious about what happens with the bottom of both lines. Darryl Richard came out of nowhere and made me wonder if he's better than someone like Pryor, Brace, or Deaderick. Love solidified a roster spot IMO. On the offensive side, the entire backup OL looked great. Maybe we'll swap out some older backups for young ones.

Ugh. Probably true, but SO frustrating. Butler, by most accounts, was going to be a player. He has been more dissapointing than most. Annoying that - unless he has some kinda magical pixie dust - he is heading south...

I like Fletcher and Price. Especially Fletcher.

This +1, and I will add Kade Weston.

Then to see Wilhite and Butler deep into the game was interesting. I thought they both played like crap. But I can't remember seeing the rook Williams except on STs. Has he already proved himself, or is he not worthy of time over a WR?

Andersen......see ya.....They're just gonna run draw after draw against this guy.He missed out on the "setting the edge" class:bricks:

I'm not so sure Edelman sticks

He needs to learn some consistency is all. That's how he's been every year. Tate, on the other hand, is consistently mediocre.
