Sign me up for 11-5. 12-4 wouldn't surprise me, but 13-3 seems unlikely at this point.

9-7 feels right.

Original prediction: 12-4 with losses to Jets, Eagles, Broncos and Redskins. First round loss to whoever we play.

Revised prediction: 12-4 (losses 2 of 3 of Giants/Jets/Eagles) and first round loss to whoever we play.

Old Prediction: 15-1 with a SB Victory
New Prediction: 11-5 with a loss in the 1st round of the playoffs.

The defense can't stop anybody and if the offense is held at bay we are in huge trouble.

11-5 or more likely 10-6

This team is not going to win the division with this defense and an underachieving Brady and co.

Rex Ryan will be popping the champagne as he has so long waited for...better close your eyes when this happens or you might go blind.

I'm down for 9-7. The Eagles and Jets will blow The Patriots away, and The Bills will pull out a second victory. I'm also pretty sure that this team will hit an all time low when Tebow beats them in a few weeks.

5-11, can't score more than 20 and everyone can score 20 on us, doesn't take rocket science.

Now if they wake up and say hey we are not the Bengals or Lions (who probably have better records than us now lmao) we should do something, change schemes, add guys, something. Then we can win 12 games easily. Depends on the management, players, and coaching not how much I want them to win.

I'm on the 8-8/9-7 bandwagon and I am pretty sure they are not going to
the playoffs. There will be no wild card to be had in the AFCE this year as
there are going to be more than a few teams with better records in the AFC
and they are not going to beat the Jets.

All phases of the game for this team is average at best and some way below
average. I would like to be optimistic but I just can't see the team doing
anything with the average talent they have to play the game with. What few
good skill players we have are being taken out of the games because the
opposition does not have to give a great effort to shut down most of the
average to below average players.

1) The Ocho experiment has to die because he is not delivering anything to the mix.

2) The Branch experiment has to die because he is not delivering anything
to the mix.

Old, slow, and underperforming is no way to build a receiving corp Bill.

Oh yeah you say, give Brady enough time and he will shred the opposition!
Well here is a surprise, so won't every single QB in the league. Unfortunately
our geriatric receivers get so winded trying to get open that never happens.

It would be better to go back to the scrap heap and find anyone who has
some speed and might catch a ball thrown his way than continue
with these bad decisions. Right up there amongst the worst BB has made IMO.

How the defensive secondary can possibly get any worse is tough to
imagine. Our linebackers couldn't cover my Grandmother. Our defensive
line couldn't get a sack at Roche Bros.

I expect Rex to have BBQ/Beer delivered to his team at the start of the fourth
quarter as the game will be long over at that point.

Given the current record 5-3 and looking at the remaining schedule, it's a sobering re-adjustment. The Patriots still have the following games;

Code:
[B]Week  Venue              Opponent      Projected Result[/B]
10 MetLife Stadium NY Jets [B]Loss[/B]
11 Gillette Stadium Kansas City Win
12    Lincoln Financial  Philadelphia  [B]Loss[/B]
13    Gillette           Indianapolis  Win
14    FedEx Field        Washington    Win
15    Mile High          Denver        Win
16    Gillette           Miami         Win
17    Gillette           Buffalo       Win
11-5 looks reasonable. Allowing for an absolute stinker outside of 2 further projected losses, 10-6 looks the floor, 12-4 the ceiling.

12-4 should win the division, 11-5 should get us a wildcard birth.

If they lose vs the Jets...

11-5 and maybe not even a wildcard

Everything is coming out of the AFC north

If the beat the Jets..i say 12-4...losing to the eagles

My early season prediction was 12-4.

I still think this is attainable but i think 11-5 is more realistic for this team. We'll just have to hope we get hot at the right time of the season for a run at this thing

I dunno why people are so pessimistic about the Pats winning the division. The Bills and Jets both have pretty glaring weaknesses of their own. There's no clear-cut best team in the AFCE.

I first said 13-3...

but now I think 10-6. The defense will continue to get worse, if that's possible. I see losses next week against the Jets, against Eagles, and even against Tim Tebow and the Broncos. LOL.

and one & done in the playoffs of course.

11-13 wins, probable division winner.

Call it 12-4.

Preseason prediction was 10-6. Sticking with it for now.

This was my original prediction.....

"Dolphins W
Chargers W
@Bills L (ya, it sucks...I know)
@Raiders W
Jets W
Cowboys W
BYE WEEK
@Steelers L (ya, this sucks too)
Giants W
@Jets L (this takes the cake though)
Chiefs W
@Eagles W
Colts W
@Redskins W
@Broncos W( F*** IT! We're going to Mile High and doing work!!)
Dolphins W
Bills L (Swept? we have the division wrapped up and they are fighting for WC....or pride)

12-4 and a date in Indy"

You know what, I'm gonna leave it at 12-4, take away the loss to the Bills in week 17.

Mumble grumble...incoherent phrases...no coffee yet...

This is kind of like my kids' elementary school where they fix things so nobody "loses." Why not just give everybody a chance to change their season prediction on January 2nd?

I'm sticking with my original 12--4, despite some of the disrespect such "low ball" predictions got back in August. "What kind of a Patriots fan are you to say that a 14--2 team that has gotten better will go 12--4?" Well, I did and it looks like it won't be more than a game off one way or the other.

Now where's that goddam coffee?
