Berman has already has decided. Just needs to write it up and dot the "i"s. IMO

24-48 hours for the judge to type up....

Copied in from my post in the other thread:

Talked to a lawyer friend. He said it is standard in the federal courts for the decision to just pop in on PACER when the judge decides to submit it and a clerk has a free minute to send it in. So it could literally happen at any time with no warning.

In other words, don't be waiting for the lawyers to be called into the courtroom for the decision or any movie-like thing like that.

That said, my friend said that because of the level of interest by the media in the case the media might be notified a while ahead of time about when the decision will be submitted so that the media stops bugging the courthouse about it every five minutes.

Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya........

Pass me a smores!

He probably didn't do this so that he could leave it open for a possible last second settlement.
I agree. Even though he probably sees settlement as unlikely, he is probably thinking that some last minute pressure never hurt.
