. Ray Rice is a grinder. He rarely breaks huge runs, obviously against our crap 2009 D he did but he's a grinder

"Brady finished practice going 0-7 with an interception to Brandon Browner"
If this had been the last few years he would have probably finished 6-7.
Just want to make it clear that I wasn't trying to be sarcastic about Brady. Meant that the secondary is much improved than what we've had in the past.
Ray Rice has a lights-out punch against a weak defense..

I was about to say that too, I had to browse through the last 4 freaking pages, all about everything but training camp which is what this thread should be about. Really annoying! Why are we talking about ray rice, antuan smith, and Blount in a trainng camp thread? Last time I checked none of those guys are on this team.
How is DJ Willians doing? What about his blocking?
– Linebackers Jamie Collins and James Anderson had impressive pass coverage plays in 1-on-1s against running backs and tight ends. Tight end D.J. Williams looked solid in 1-on-1s.
They won an AFC CHampionshipThe Pats never won anything while John Hannah and Andre Tippett were here. Only made it past the first round once in the whole time that either of those guys was there. Are you going to hold the Pats' hall of famers to the same standard that you're holding Sanders to?
Could very well be that they have no real plans to play him at safety any significant time. But they usually move guys around a bit in training camp just in case. Not sure if anyone posted an update on Logan Ryan's reps at safety, aside from patsfanken bringing it up from yesterday's session, but apparently the Herald finally decided to get around to it today.
According to Logan Ryan "There's been wrinkles (of safety work) here and there, but nothing too significant."
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots' second-year linebacker Jamie Collins put on a show with his coverage skills in Wednesday's practice in full pads. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Collins broke up two passes and shut down most every running back and tight end he matched up with during practice.
-Andy Hart often laments the fact that the term "coverage linebacker" is a bit of a misnomer. Few if any linebackers are capable of sticking with running backs in coverage, as he has stated countless times. But so far in camp James Anderson has proven to be the exception. As Andy has mentioned, his coverage has been solid and on Wednesday he was outstanding on one play against James White. The rookie tried a double move and worked his way down the sideline on a deep fade. Anderson was stride for stride with the shifty fourth-round pick and prevented the completion with stifling coverage.

He didn't do much to help his team win which is even less difficult to comprehend.
