Something has just happened that I never thought would happen. the Colts have moved up to 1B on my "teams that I hate list".

For many years now, the Giants have held sole pocession of #1. The Colt had bee 2b with the Raiders.

But because Bill Polian has deliberately made AV the offer that he couldn't turn down, just to get back at us, the Colts are now sharing the #1 position with the Giants. Polian wanted to get us where it hurt, that man is evil.

Any ony else feel the same?

They are now the team I hate the most in the NFL also!!

Polian knew that signing Adam would do 2 things:

Get him a clutch kicker for the playoffs
&
Weaken his biggest rival.

Smart business... IMO...

I've always hated them the most because of their incessant whining and making excuses when they get beat. Nothing has changed for me.

I can't quite hate them. I laugh at them.

Look at that choke last year!

WHEN THE GAMES ARE ACTUALLY PLAYED, THEY CHOKE EVERY TIME!!!!!

So they gain magazine covers in March every year, and Peyton is lionized in the media each July.

Every January they get hideously disfigured and run to their psychiatrist's couch.

They are our best entertainment!

I don't care about the Colts, I laugh at them. They've lost more defense this year and pay big money to replace a kicker who was 23/25 last year. Will Vinatieri be more reliable in the clutch ? Sure but the Colts don't play a lot of close games and even Vanderjagt's famous miss vs. the Steelers in the playoffs this year wouldn't have happened without horrendous officiating. The chance of Vinatieri being the difference in a big game for the Colts is small IMO.

Well said Shmess! Just the other day I heard another talking head on national radio say that the Colts are his Super Bowl favorite right now at this point. Huhhhhhh??????????

Right after the Super Bowl the oddsmakers made the Colts the favorites. Weird for a team that can't even get to the Super Bowl, let alone win it.

They've been my most hated team just about since Manning started whining. Now they're my Number One With A Rocket! And sorry, that makes AV the most hated kicker in the league also.

They have always been one of my hated teams, but they jumped up when they changed the rules to try to help them win a Super Bowl, which still hasn't worked, even with the refs on thier side.

They have bigger things to worry about, like losing a Pro Bowl running back to the Cards of all teams.

This isn't a reason to hate the Dolts. Hate Robert Kraft and Belichick and Pioli and/or Adam.

Yeah, bring back Billy Sullivan and Rod Rust!

Just another Barney Fife twitching and shaking on March 22nd.

dolts are on my teams i love to beat" list: packers, dolts, orioles, texas rangers, new york rangers. but i don't hate the dolts, they're too pathetic.
teams i HATE (all sports): knicks, lakers, bulls, cowboys, the effin raiders, yankees, canadiens.

Another reason I hate the Colts more today than yesterday is that now I have to retrain my dogs.

I have a football that I put on the ground and when I say "Adam" they get ready and when I say "Venitari" they take off becasue they know I'm going ot kick it. I can't do that anymore.

Maybe I'll say "Adam" then "Benedict" and see how they do with that.

Two things with this post. First, they didn't change any rules. The asked that rules that were already in the books be enforced. Second, the Cards are throwing a lot of money at Edge and he wanted to get paid. $15 million for his first year made his move easy for him. So to say "of all teams" seems a little out of place. I think that the Pats could have easily kept AV if they would have just given him some guaranteed money. I the Colts are paying him about $2.5 million over the first three years and part of that is the $3.5 million signing bonus. It's that in the same ballpark that the Pats were talking about minus the bonus money, right?

You are wrong. Adam wanted to go to a warm weather team or dome team. I think it's because of his back problems. But, he was gone. Why he even talked to GB now is a big question.

I don't have a problem with his leaving for more money or better weather/conditions.

I do have a have huge problem with him signing with the scummy Colts.

When has Adam said he was going to sign with a warm weather or dome team because of his back?

Everyone is so pissed because he left and went to the Colts for about the same money as the Patriots offered, but it was the Patriots that left out the guaranteed money for the most clutch kicker currently in the nfl. I guess they thought he would be like Brady and give them a discount because he was a patriot. Wrong. Football injuries end careers. Adam went where he could make sure his pockets got at least something if he ends up out of the league in a year or two. The Patriots front office didn't want to pay up so they lost him. The Colts upgraded a kicker and possibly opened up a roster spot that was used for a kickoff specialist.

What would have happened had Brady had a career threatening injury on the last play of the superbowl? Would Kraft have ponied up the dough for a contract for an injured player? Hell no. He would have said "Thank you, Tom, have a nice life. If it gets better, maybe we'll work something out." The only thing is that Tom can say I'll take less in my contract for the team concept because he can get over 10 million in signing bonus. Kickers are considered second rate citizens when it comes time to get a new contract. I don't blame him for getting the best deal possible. Every player does it, and they better because there may not be another one.

If you guys are mad because he left for greener pastures, blame Kraft, Pioli & Bellichick. They should have taken care of the guy they shafted twice by using the franchise tag on. If they signed him 2 years ago you guys wouldn't be mad now.

I hated the Colts before they signed Adam.
