Ok. Blame the D if you'd like, but we knew the D would have trouble after the release of Bodden and the IR of Dowling. I expected a shootout with lots of points scored. If you had told me going into the game that the Steelers would score 25, I would have said that we would win. Look at the O Line play, Volmer was a turnstyle. Mankins and Volmer both had 2 false starts and I believe Light had another. Volmer's feet looked like he was trying to move in quicksand. The O Line flat out sucked against the Steelers and Brady got banged around and chased and sacked on a regular basis. Each penalty by the O line took us out of a favorable down & distance in to a passing play and made it easier for the D to send the blitz. The D wasn't great, but we should have been able to make plays if the O line hadn't stunk out loud. BTW - Was it my imagination or did it look like the Steelers Oline was allowed to hold and facemask on every play? Also, the refs allowed too much crap with late hits after the whistle and they were very lucky that a full fledged brawl didn't break out during the game.
