Probably because it isn't. As much as people like to criticize the course to war, and validly I must add, the bottom line will always move to the resolution itself, and Saddams non-compliance.

Lol, good call AAB. He comes back, but given the chance to respond to how he knew PressCoverage was a 'fins fan, he just writes some half-assed insults and goes on his way.

If this gets investigated by the US Congress....Bush is screwed. The responses by the bush backers is typical....Name calling, and sarcasm. All of the evidence in this points to the fact that Bush and Blair wanted to invade Iraq long before 9-11. They olny needed two things to pull it off.

    1. A galvanizing event (9-11)
    2. Cooked evidence.

    They created both.

Bush's War is a black eye in the history of the U.S. Defenders of Bush's War (about 19% in the last poll) have continuously spoke of the liberal press over blowing the violence. Early on, we heard how the City of Detroit had relatively the same death rate as Baghdad. Now we find out through the Baker Report that the violence has actually been underreported.
    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16240566/site/newsweek
For example, one day in July 2006 there were 93 acts of violence reported. After reviewing the reports it appeared that there were actually 1100 acts of
violence. There will be much more cover-ups that will be reported as investigations begin. The big question is, how long is Bush planning to stay in denial resulting in dead Americans. He's planning a speech for January 2007. I can hardly wait.

Scout, whats worse is that Bushs political manipulation machine has effectively brainwashed a good portion of the public into "thinking" 1) there is such a thing as a liberal press, and 2) that there is a good chance that if we just increase the troop level, everything will be fine.

The downing street memo is a clear example of how there is no liberal press. If there was, this nugget of info would have been on every network until it sunk in. Instead, here we are still collectively, but not completely, believing that 9-11 and Iraq had something to do with one another.

Many of us may still want to believe that there is a connection, but the only connection is that Bin Laden wanted to trap us in Iraq to see us fall prey to the same fate as the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan.

Thats the only connection. Its that ahole Bin Laden, who should have been tried, convicted, and executed by now, effectively outsmarted Bush and his blind sheeple.

well done kiddies...$400++ billion spent, nearly 3000 KIA and 25,000 wounded, and we still have no justice for those 3000 innocents who were slaughtered on our soil on 9-11. Not to mention we're stuck in quagmire. And yet there are bozos who claim that we're better off today than we were in 2000.

    yep...bozos

honestly, i don't believe Blair truly wanted it, but was pressured into adopting the Wolfowitless grand plan years ago...

it is my opinion that Blair, if he wanted to cleanse his legacy a bit, could turn this whole thing on it's ear by renouncing current policy and leaving the US to its own devices.... he, or the UK in general, may be getting very close to doing just that...
