The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has gotten its hands on the specifications document for the 2018 Superbowl bids (won by Minneapolis):

NFL had a long, pricey and secret Super Bowl wish list for Minneapolis | Star Tribune

Free police escorts for team owners, and 35,000 free parking spaces. Presidential suites at no cost in high-end hotels. Free billboards across the Twin Cities. Guarantees to receive all revenue from the game’s ticket sales — even a requirement for NFL-preferred ATMs at the stadium.

The NFL’s requests covered everything from free access to three “top quality” golf courses during the summer or fall before the Super Bowl, to free curbside parking at a yet-to-be designated NFL House — defined as a “high-end, exclusive drop-in hospitality facility for our most valued and influential guests to meet, unwind, network and conduct business.

eh, it's still not as bad as what Olympics and World Cup people want. Real Sports HBO did a great piece on those guys.

Depressing.
When I got engaged to my lovely bride my Latin teacher, who kept me in detention virtually every day after school for mistranslating Latin in risqué or hilarious fashion, called her up and warned her not to marry me.

NFL ditches Roman numerals for Super Bowl 50 - SBNation.com

Traditum est palmis caedebat in facie!

Omnis injuria est oratorum Latine!

Hoc est, proditione, ut eos, qui se ad usus Googleum Translatorus dissimulare potes!

Huh, on a web translation thingy I got:
Translations:

Surrender is glory slaughter upon the making! All wrongful is orator Latine! This is , treason , when these , quae himself to to use Googleum To transfer to ignore power!

Heh, this is why my French friends hate me for using Google Translator.. I mean I think they literally hate me for it. :)

Thats about as bad a re-translating as Ive ever seen, know Google Translator will usually butcher the original message when translating to one language and then back again, but thats a particularly bad one.

So I hope people realize the whole thing was just a joke. I don't speak Latin. I was pretending to be an outraged Latin speaker who was upset that the NFL is not using Roman numerals to mark this years Super Bowl anniversary.

This is what I got when using Google Translator.

Traditional it is a slap in the face!

Every injury is a fluent speaker of English!

That is, the treachery, as those that you can turn a blind eye to the use of Googleum a translator!

Which in the original English (roughly) was:

This is a slap in the face of tradition!

It is an insult to us Latin language speakers.

That is if you can turn a blind eye to our use of Google Translator.
