Someone needs to stealthy photoshop Ernie Adams in the background behind BB.

Reche Caldwell, master of all he surveys.

No love for the "great" Ken Sims or Chris Canty?

The problem with putting Sims on Bizzaro Pats Mt. Rushmore is that you'd spend all the time and effort sculpting it and it would immediately develop an unforeseen crack down the middle and fall apart after 3 years.

Well, we've had a Ted Washington, Shawn Jefferson and a Rosevelt Colvin.

Lot's of Jackson's, Johnson's, Adams', Wilson's, Carter's and even an Eisenhauer (sp. close) but no Lincoln's.

Bizarro Mt. Rushmore!!

Mine would be

Victor Kiam
Clive Rush
Monty Beisel
Zeke Mowatt

How about sexual innuendo Mt. Rushmore:

**** Felt
**** Shiner
Randy Hand
Gene Profit

For my first post...

I do not see how a Patriot's Mount Rushmore could not include the one person who without there may never have been a Patriot team to begin with......

Billy Sullivan

My other three

Bob Kraft
Tom Brady
Gino Cappelletti

You're absolutely right about Sullivan. Spot on.

But sorry, but I'd have to bump Gino

Michael Jackson deserves a spot ...

he started that great chain reaction that led to Kraft - Belichick - Brady :D

The original Mt. Rushmore celebrates great (or if you disagree, then supposedly-great) leaders. Given that, I like the idea of:

Sullivan
Kraft
Belichick
Brady

Kraft, Belichick, Brady.

No one else.

Kraft, Brady, Belichick and Hannah for the Mount Rushmore.
Lets not forget the worst GM in the history of the Pats Bobby Grier as part of the Bizarro Mt Rushnore

This.

If were going to use a monument that celebrates the architects of the greatest nation on Earth, then the same should be done for the second greatest nation on Earth.

Ok, I really like this thread...

So, I am going to go three ways:

The Obvious List:

Bill Belichick
Tom Brady
Bill Parcells
Drew Bledsoe

Why Bledsoe & Parcells? Because they brought our franchise to respectability in the dawn just before the bright sunlight of the Brady/Belichick era.

The Star Players Only List:

Tom Brady
Andre Tippett
Steve Nelson
Drew Bledsoe

The Hardass Players That Just Always Made My Day, Win or Lose, List:

Tedy Bruschi
Steve Grogan
Troy Brown
Rodney Harrison

In honor of the real Mt Rushmore

Sullivan-Washington. Founder of the team
Belichick-Jefferson. Brought the team to higher levels never seen before
Kraft-Lincoln. Saved the team from disaster and moving
Brady-Roosevelt. Leadership and winning

Just my thoughts.

Well, he did make this nice tackle once with only one shoe.....

adam vinatieri runs down herschel walker - YouTube

I enjoyed that at the time, but AV left the Pats, Kraft, Belichick and Brady for Indy, Irsay, Polian and Manning. That bothers me.

I think I'll have to ask for clarification from the Nomination Committee on this one. Does a player forfeit his right if he left the Pats?

If there's a meeting my shoe is coming off so I can bang it on the table.:nooo:

Mount Rush-Less

Rod Rust
Chad Ochocinco
Hart Lee Dykes
Albert Haynesworth

Hey, Bill left New England for the Jets once IIRC. He did divorce them and come back though. That napkin should be in Canton.

All so far are of current/recent players/persons.

Giving retired/non-active players/personnel a shot:

Gino Cappeletti - as a player not announcer
Billy Sullivan - circa 1963 or so (team does not even exist without him)
Steve Grogan
Chuck Fairbanks

Players only
