Sounds like your problem is that you are currently a fan of a team that lost on Sunday and for some unknown reason you must think Cassel plays CB, Tackle, O-Line, LB and calls all the freakin' plays.

He's the QB, ONE GUY - ONE POSITION. Albiet important, he's just one dude out of 45. How are all the others doing in your world? Pro Bowlers?

I keep hearing this, and I have no clue what you're talking about. I'm going to guess you mean the first long pass to Moss last week, where he had to slow down (because the pass was underthrown), kept his hands low until the last second so he didn't tip off the defender, was bumped by said defender as he went to catch the ball (because the pass was underthrown), and ultimately didn't hang on to the ball because the defender was blanketing him, having been brought back into the play because the pass was underthrown.

Yeah, he still makes that catch sometimes, but geez, give the guy a break. He dropped one against the Giants in game 16 last year too, that was an easier chance than the one last week. Brady went right back to him.

THAT'S the difference this year; he gets 1-2 looks a game to try to make a circus catch on a badly thrown pass. And then Cassel/McDaniels revert to the 3 yard passing game after that.

How did you come up with the brilliant idea that he dogged it??

Look dude, you can insert ANY FREAKING PLAYERS NAME IN THAT SENTENCE that did not DO THEIR JOB. Get it?

Forget RANDY then. I'm not speaking of ONE play, I'm talking about the ability to give someone HELL like Tommy would if they did not do thier job, Cassel can't do that yet. You blame him for that? Come on.

Eason got us to the Super Bowl in 1984 and of couse, lost big and looked like a dog out there that day - But still he got us there.

I've been quiet on the Cassel thing. It's about time the fans on this site start talking about ALL the problems and not just using Matty as the Scapegoat to all our issues.

Amazing the number of quiters here in this thread and elsewhere in this forum who want to tank the season either to play rooks early or to get better draft picks.

Box made a good case where with injury to Green that to staff the pass rush perhaps rookie OLB The Crab may be active against the Donks. There will be plenty of opportunity this season for the rooks. Already most of them have seen the field. They'll see more. Were we to be mathematically eliminated from the post season, then I'd agree and expect to see BB play all the fringe players.

I am not a fan of Matt Cassel by any stretch, watching him play makes me spew obsceneties at the telveision, he is frustrating to watch..However, I am a Patriots fan, I am a Belichick believer, so if this is the guy, then this is the guy.

Lets hope the team comes out and shows something in this next game.

'zackly, Wheatley and Wilhite are on the Gay/Hobbs development program, they have at least 3 more games before they can try and match their predecessors and take on a starting role without risking ruining them. Crable is learning to play a new position, yeh he had some in college, but he's a work in progress and another whose emotional health needs to be factored in when throwing him in against NFL starters.

I'm worried though, Donks with Crabs? Sounds like another Crocodile Dundee movie, and they have been getting worse by the sequel! With this title it sounds like Paul Hogan is expected to make a porno...the visuals from that concept are unimpressive to say the least.
