I am really no to high on Maroney. He is not a great receiver, and from what I hear he does not like to get hit, which means he is probably not the best blocker. Plus Minnesota's 2nd string back had better average's then Maroney (he had a 186 carries to Maroney's 281), and he is just a sophmore. Which tends me to believe that it's more of a system thing.

Stovall will not make it to the 4th round.

Like the Havner pick.

Instead of OG Spitz, I would like to the the Pats get Patrick Ross from BC. He should be there in the 4th, and possible in the 5th round. He can play both OG and Center and we all know the reputation BC has for putting out solid NFL offensive lineman.

BB drafting a RB round one changes the value dynamic of his drafting style to date.
Another Safety seems a stretch when we can expect 5 to be coming back from last seasons roster. Not to mention Hawkins who should be re-signed.
Minter didn't seem to accomplish much in his All-Star game, but I'm not the best at grading a CB's mechanics for BB's system.
Havener didn't impress in his All-Star game, Bray of Oregon State was much more instinctive in that weight class which is light for a Patriots' ILB.
Stovall is nice, he already has a heads up on the system.
Spitz came out of the regular season with positive grades and was uninspired but decent in the Shrine game. He isn't a bad choice there, but other Guards and a couple Centers stood out as good or better in the All-Star games.
LeKevin Smith was okay, he sucked up a few double teams and didn't do too badly in the Shrine game, but there were more dominating DTs in the All Star games.
At 147 Evans is a cheap experiment for Dante's training program.
Rob Ninkovich did not give the All-Star tackles in the Shrine game any great challenges, but he isn't a wasted pick in the sixth.
We have a QB in NFLE and young Cassell, hard to see another developmental QB being more then camp fodder.

i like jason allen, but i was thinking third round for him

stovall won't last, i'd take him in the second or first pick in the third (combine will be big for stovall)

are we going to carry four QBs next year? obviously we have to sign a veteran.
