They reconvened only to adjourn next week, and will reconvene on Nov. 13... what an absolute waste of time and money..

These are some of the bills that are pending..

    1. Violence Against Women Act re-authorization.
    2. The American Jobs Act
    3. Tax cuts for working families.
    4. Veterans Job Corps Act
    5. Sequestration.
    6. Farm Bill.
    7. Wind tax credit.

Not to mention the whole sequestration cluster mess up...

This is the worlds greatest scharade, Issa is not even taking the point on trying to embarass Obama.. missed opportunity.

Nobody's life, liberty or property is safe when congress is in session..

Has the Senate introduced a budget...... No not since 2009.

But you don't seem bothered by that.

After 11/8/2012 hopefully there will be a new President waiting to be sworn in.

A lot of those bills should never be passed.

So it is ok for the hard right to support another vacation for Congress.. just what they need, and what our country needs is more time off for Crybaby to play some golf....

Or maybe it is the best thing as if they were in session they would try to overturn the Affordable Care Act for the 33rd time.. good use of time and resources.

Does H Reid have the Senate in session to pass a budget?

The congress passed a continuing resolution to find the government where is H Reid?

The next vote on that matter will happen on Jan 21 and the repulsive Obamacare tax will be repealed, and the repeal will be signed by Pres Romney.

The consensus seems to be ok for these folks to take another two months after just having over a month, complete with their expense accounts.

So they are paid $174,000 per year for about 6 months work..

No wonder the crybaby can fit in over 300 rounds of golf a year..

Harry Reid hasn't tried to pass a budget since 4/2009 wake me up when you post complaining about Reid not getting paid till he does his job.

The House has passed budgets each year Reid won't allow a vote on those budgets and hasn't passed a budget.

Yet dems are silent on this why?

    Selective concern?

Why do you always need to derail threads.. and then put on your mod hat and ban people from threads for derailing them..:confused::confused::confused:

So it is ok because Harry Reid has not tried to "pass a budget" since 2009, for the House to take another two months off after taking over a month off...

    Weird thought process...

Harry Reid trying to pass a budget is akin to the time wasted in the house passing 32 bills to repeal the Affordable Care Act.... usually there are efforts at budget reconciliation, but in this case the Senate and House decided on draconian measures..

It should be much easier to get a tee time with Obama busy on the campaign trail.

Neither are ok. But, you seem to be worried about only one of them. What is more important (or should have been) to America? A budget or a couple more weeks in session? I think that since we are in so poor economical shape that a budget would be the first order of business. How do you say that you are trying to fix the economy and yet have no budget? You do know that a budget is sort of like the tool or the plan to fix the economy. At least it is the first step that points everything in the right direction.

Obama is great at saying things like "the republicans drove the car into a ditch and we are up to our knees in mud trying to push it out" But, I see no mud on Obama while he is playing golf and going on vacations.
