Rushbo's wedding did not mellow him out, and it did not take long for the head of the Republican Party to articulate the principles of the Party of Family Values..

He was responding to an AOL story about how 16 million children will face a summer of hunger....Unfortunately he is correct about one thing, that for many poor folks junk food is more readily available and much cheaper than quality food...

"Dittoheads" are extremely cool people, who have great amounts of compassion...

the GOP has been hijacked by neocons and Rockefeller Republicans(most of whom support Eugenics) since the 1980's.

Plus through all these years they would CLAIM to be pro-life and anti-gay marriage, rarely, if ever, do they DO ANYTHING about it. Plus both of Bush II's appointees(Roberts and Scalia) admitted they're pro-Roe V Wade.

Rush isn't an elected nor appointed leader of the Republican party. Can I take everything Olbermann says as gospel for the Democrats?

But he, like Olbermann, is very good at deceiving the masses into engaging in this false Left/Right paradigm.

If Rush was REALLY a true patriot, then he would have endorsed Ron Paul in the primaries(and Chuck Baldwin in the final election), and NOT John "I'm a liberal infiltrating the Republican Party" McCain.

Scalia was appointed by Reagan in 1986 and has NEVER said he's pro Roe v Wade.. link please.....
In fact in Webster v. Reproductive Health Services, Scalia criticized the court for NOT overturning Roe v Wade.....

    Thanks for playing........

Oops, Sorry, that's a TYPO - ALITO is his name.

Again - he, like Roberts came out and said he is pro-life. However - he admitted that Roe V Wade IS the "law of the land".

Anyhow - pt being that you either support abortion, or you don't. There's no "in between" like "I don't support it, but such and such laws are the law of this country".

Rushbo weighs in on the Shakedown comments, sad day for american politics..

The situational right, does not want to hold people responsible for their destruction of the environment.. guess they want it to fall on the taxpayer to clean it up.

    Tuna,
I agree with Chico that abortion is one of those issues that has gray zones and is not entirely black and white. There are those who believe in abortion rights up to the point of viability ( like Roe v Wade) and others who are very troubled by late term partial birth abortions. There are those on both extremes who believe in abortion rights in all circumstances and those who believe it should be banned in all cases, some include rape, incest and life of the mother. I believe that the vast majority of the American public falls somewhere in the middle, believing there should be some legal abortions early on but not after viability.
