Financial institutions bought huge packages of loans from Fannie and Freddie because they are government insured. The democrats resisted regulation and so Fannie and Freddie cheated to the point of total instability. Franklin Raines Obama's buddy ... let's hope he ends up in a federal jail.

YouTube - Shocking Video Unearthed Democrats in their own words Covering up the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Scam that caused our Economic Crisis

The same people that allowed Fannie and Freddie to go bust ... like Barney Frank are sitting in and are now crafting the bailout bill ... nice ... real nice.

the guy who should be president is Ron Paul.

he knows a bailout is not what we should do.

setting prices is a bad thing. let the market set prices, not the government.

adding more money out of thin air to the economy will only devalue the dollar. fi the dollar gets ruined the economy will really be in bad shape.

just think our destiny lies with the FED who we do not elect. that's pretty scary.

Palin isn't exactly inspiring and you can't really be serious about George Bush. Both parties trashed our economy and did it by playing to the corporations.

what about the consumer getting a clue and not living beyond their means or not getting an ARM? the American public had the great appetite to consume, consume, consume

I don't disagree with you but Bush ain't any genius. the economic stimulus plan was a great plan.

he alienated congress when he should have worked with them to fix the situation. he put us in Iraq and that cost billions.

how much has the national debt gone up since he took office?

as I see it the Empire is overextended, giving too much foreign aid, staionned in too many countries and it's caught up to the nation.

Meanwhile, Bush's policy of "Ownership Society" gets a free pass... It's beyond retarded to pretend the housing bubble burst is a partisan issue.

It's amazing how many democrats and republicans have been prosecuted and investigate over the last ten years. Neither side more than the other..

I'd say it's amazing that our people haven't revolted yet. I feel like Bill O'Reilly who recently said "if I were in a room with them, I'd hit 'em!! ...the fat toad!":D There's a boatload of politicians I would like to use as a heavy bag right now. And I don't see the face of any particular party on that bag.

    WAS.

Where is Johnson since the primaries were going on??????

    Where is Rick Davis today??????

If you're going to bring up PAST ties we can open up the can of worms of the Keating Five if you'd like?

Today, RIGHT NOW, after everything is known Rick Davis CONTINUES as John McCain's campaign manager.

This is an active judgement by "the Maverick" to keep Mr. Davis on after all is known.

THAT is the difference between Barack Obama and McSame. Obama would have fired his arse in a millisecond. McCain keeps this parasite on.

    Read, and enjoy:

I believe MR Johnson is currently bundling money for Obama.

McCain introduced legislation to increase oversight on criminals like Johnson, clearly Davis had no influence on McCain being in the bag for the corrupt at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae unlike people like Obama, Frank, Dodd and the rest.

So how did he influence McCain to allow Fannie and Freddie to blow up the housing market? Wait MCCain introduced legislation to regulate Fannie and Freddie that were blocked by Raines and Johnson BO advisors. Conect the dots, guess who got > 100k from Frannie and Fereddie in less than 3 years.

    Connect the dots indeed.

Check both videos. Raines and Johnson robbed the American people while donating > 100k to BO and the dems in congress as shown in the video. Are the dems lying to the committee?

The dems through the CRA forced banks to grants loans to people who were high risk.

    The denail here is amazing.

BTW how do you feel about the bailout and the dems loading pork targeted at the criminals art ACORN??

Facts are facts the thieves at frannie and freddi donated overwhelmingly to dems, it is right on the opensecrets.org website. Bush tried to regulate and the demRATS in congress stonewalled.

The hypocrisy of the lefties trying to spin the robbing of the American people by your socialist heros in the dems party ia laughable.

Ownership doesn't mean an unregulated subprime market the rats championed. As Clinton said this week the fault is with the dems blocking any attempts at reform.

Which pubbies have been busted for the housing meltdown? How many pubbies were involved with the changes made to the CRA during the Clinton years? How many pubbies were involved in blocking attempts at reforming the lending practices by Frannie and Freddie? How many pubbies were like B Frank were saying in 2005 that there were no problems with Freddie and Frannie.
