.

The "health-care" Nazis have officially gone around the bend, exposing their maniacal obsession with dictating how people in America should receive health care. If ever a poster child was needed to represent the absolutely crazed and dictatorial position of the "health-care" whackos, this is it:

Healthcare activist bites off finger of counter-demonstrator, authorities say

    September 3, 2009 | 10:29 am
Authorities are searching for a healthcare reform activist today who they said bit off the finger of a 65-year-old counter-demonstrator during a fight at a MoveOn.org rally in Thousand Oaks.

“It all started with their difference in philosophy over healthcare reform,” said Senior Deputy Eric Buschow of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident occurred about 7 p.m. Wednesday at a “We Can’t Afford to Wait Vigil” organized by affiliates of the activist group MoveOn.org, which drew supporters of President Obama’s healthcare plan, Buschow said. The rally also attracted several counter-protesters, he said.

During the rally at Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive, near the Oaks Mall, the two men got into a heated argument and began fighting.

Healthcare activist bites off finger of counter-demonstrator, authorities say | L.A. Now | Los Angeles Times

The actual agenda of the health-care fanatics is finally exposed for all to see: "our way or you die, starting with us biting off your fingers".

    Total sicko.

Gotta love modern medicine. Would be possible under "Obama-care"???? Highly doubtful. For one thing the guy is "too old"; under socialized medicine around the world, care is rationed and only the "worthy" get it. Over 65 is not considered to be "worthy" "too old", they say. "Just go die", they say.

    I don't think so.

Somehow the medical world will lose the ability to reattach limbs under socialized medicine. Abilities that they already have under Medicare? Somehow he will be dropped from Medicare (impossible) and die from a severed pinky (unprecidented) ?????

    Bat$h!t!

WTF cloud are you puffin, Fog? Pass me some!

Not sure how you read into it that I am "blaming" the guy. I'm sure having your finger bitten off sucks.

However, when you are protesting government run healthacre, which leads to you getting into a fight, that leads to you having your finger bitten off, that leads to you getting your finger re-attached funded by a government run healthcare program....

    its called IRONY.

But go ahead and think that liberals are blaming the victim here...go nuts...

keep avoiding the moronic stance of the over 65 crowd who accepts medicare, but can't stand for socialized medicine....

On its face it sure doesn't look good, but I'd like to understand the whole context. How did this man's finger find its way into the biter's mouth? and did the biter have reason to think his life was in jeopardy?

Fella, come on over to the world of the former Soviet and I'll show the "glories" of socialized medicine. If it were not for massive donations of 30 and 40 year old discarded equipment from America, these countries would have NO EQUIPMENT and very little training to go with it at all.

You need to get out more. Take an overseas visit and see the world. You'll appreciate America's roots a LOT more.

No, it wouldn't be possible under ObamaCare because the guy would have to wait in line for 12 hours at the hospital behind all the other people (legal and illegal) that have the same care.

Under Obamacare, they'd just tell the guy he still has another 9 fingers. :D

Seriously though people, we know there are retahded whack jobs all over the place. That some idiot who supports a topical cause does something stupid, should surprise us. This just dumbs down the greater issue being discussed.

    huh?

so NOW we are going to just stop advancing medicine? I suppose our universities will all be shutting down....our hospitals will simply let the sick "bleed-it-out"...

    WTF? man.....

The World Health Organization's ranking of the world's health systems

Russia is 130th on the WHO list for care.

We are a lot closer to them right now than we are to the 36 countries ranked ahead of us, guy.

Takes a keen sense of 'debating for dummies' to pick the 130th ranked healthcare system to compare it to.

why didn't you pick Saudi Arabia, or the UK, or Ireland, Japan, Norway, or Canada, or Finland etc....?

    goofy ..... real goofy.

This guy should've paid for his care out of pocket or pay medicare back. Thats the only stance I will accept. He is a hypocrite, and backing him up.....shows the same flav.

Spoken like a genuine armchair quarterback from the comfort of his rancho mirage in sunny California ..... (which is now going from being the most prosperous state in the Union to being broke as a beggar .... all because the illegals have pushed the economy over the limit, with "entitlements" raising the debt beyond all records; the Chinese hold that debt and will leverage that debt when they see the most opportune time, when the U.S. is weakest).

Put down your bong, get out of your barco lounger and go see what it's like around the world. You'll be a better man for it, probably.

Getting clues is not difficult, but you DO have to make some effort.

The U.S. counts soldiers KIA in our health ranking. Many other countries that are ahead of us don't. That's one reason why we are so low.

Why do you constantly spout lies?

If anything, people over the age of 65 get more help than anybody else. The same applies for conditions like diabetes and aspergers, you see they get extra medical care because they need it. They don't get refused medical insurance for pre-existing conditions.

You're talking about how things are TODAY. You're talking about how things are under the CURRENT MEDICARE/MEDICAID system, the one that was built under the previous 225 years of the nation's existence. Obama's new changes will undoubtedly ratchet UP the coverage to many millions more who have no means or desire to pay a dime, yet, according to Obama's Robin Hood mentality, he will guarantee these people (including tens of millions of ILLEGAL aliens) the same coverage as your father and mother who worked all their lives and contributed to health plans, social security, and through general federal income taxes.

There is NO WAY Obama-care can be implemented WITHOUT rationing health care; there are simply not enough physicians to go around, and those that are around will be working for LESS money, thus making the medical profession less attractive to talented people. Furthermore, under "Obama-Kennedy-care" they would include "suicide counseling" as a matter of course for all those above a certain age (~65) or with certain difficult conditions (but I'll bet they will pay whatever it takes to keep HIV/AIDS patients alive .... it's a "protected" disease, with its own civil rights, you know).

Do you really know what's in Obama/Pelosi's plan??? He promises the moon but who will pay for it???? The country is already printing money like we're in a big game of Monopoly .... the national debt is soon going to reach 10 TRILLION if this keeps up. Ten TRILLION dollars ..... who has that?? How long will it take to pay that back??? Can it EVER be paid back or will the Chinese simply say, "pay us right now or give us your assets"???

The final insult is that of course Obama and his Congressional allies are all EXEMPTING THEMSELVES from the kind of medical "care" he/they want to shove down our throats!! That doesn't bother you???

Before you respond to me next, you will be better off looking at my location. I don't pretend to have a complete knowledge of the US health system and consequently i don't spout lies such as that people over the age of 65 can't have a finger reattached because they are too old.

Maybe you should do the same.

If you don't live here, then why are you talking about the health plan? Rationing will most certainly be a part of the system. Will it keep an old man from having a finger reattached? No one knows the answer to that.

How can say it's a "lie"?? Nobody knows for sure what "Obama-Kennedy-care" would bring, but what we DO KNOW right now is that the guy who got his finger bit off a couple of days ago got it re-attached under the medical system we have now in America!!!

If it ain't broke don't "fix" it.

Dude, if you ONLY knew what you were talking about .... you *might* be dangerous. I'll trade Lithuania's medical system for what you have in the U.S. (now) any day of the week. Twice on Sunday.

HMMM This sounds socialist to me.

    Lithuania - Health and Welfare

The Lithuanian constitution of 1992 provides guarantees of social rights that were earlier provided by the Soviet regime. The constitution puts special emphasis on the maintenance and care of the family. It expresses in detail, for example, the guarantee for working mothers to receive paid leave before and after childbirth (Article 39). The constitution provides for free public education in all state schools, including schools of higher education (Article 41). The constitution forbids forced labor (Article 48); legalizes labor unions and the right to strike (Articles 50 and 51); guarantees annual paid vacations (Article 49); and guarantees old-age and disability pensions, unemployment and sick leave compensation, and support for widows and families that have lost their head of household, as well as for others in situations as defined by law (Article 52). Finally, the constitution guarantees free medical care (Article 53).

The national system of social security consists of programs of social insurance and social benefits designed to continue the benefits provided by the Soviet system
