I think wes just out stupided himself.
A round of applause for wes.
Well Done Wes........... Outstupiding yourself and showing a dose of military hate, to boot. A tuff feat, handled deftly.
Wes, here's a clue. Find out where Alamogordo is. Put your finger on it and then look around it. The meaning of the billboard will be quite apparent.
Thanks ,that billboard is for the Air Force base near Alamogordo .
Hey , you know what i meant , a diverse crowd of smiling people set against the backdrop of a sky full of killing machines, labeled "The Friendliest Place on Earth."
Don't play the stupid guy.
That diverse crowd of smiling people are the same ones that keep you snug at night, sweet-pea........... They are the backbone of the GREATEST, MOST-TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED military and AIR FORCE in the world, feature that most advance aircraft in the world. Many of which were tested, fine-tuned and and stationed at Holloman Air Base, right outside of...........
You guessed it............ Alamogordo, NM.
Wes, don't let your hate consume you.
Yeah ... killing machines that allow your lame-azz to post crap in safety everday from the comfort of your home. Not like some terrorist is going to yank you from your home and lop your head off anytime soon. Freedom is only possible due to military superiority and democracy ... 2 things you scoff at on a daily basis.
Perhaps wes a week or 2 in Palestine, Syria, Somalia just to name a few and you would be licking the dirt off those aircraft and loving it.
Friendly and killing machines ...Nice
I'm positive that it was naively made. When most americans see fighter jets and stealth bombers we think, "super cool technologically advanced flying machines!" Not, "incredibly effective death weapons!"
That help keep you alive ... how do you not see that?
If you hate them so much then you have the choice of living elsewhere
in a country that doesn't have those killing machines. Or ... on a smaller
scale perhaps this suits you a bit better...they only use spears.
I'm positive you are full of sh!t....
The sign is outside of (as you enter) Alamogordo, NM, which is principally a military town supporting the Holloman AFB. The town, it's resident's, it economy and it's way of life it, like just about every other military town, interwined with the base and it's mission. As for the group of people smiling, some are unifirmed, some are "family", all are diverse, pretty much the same as any typical military town.
As for the "killing" machines, they are (from l-r), a Panavia Tornado (a German Luftwaffe aircraft - NOT US), an F-22 Raptor, and an F-117 Nighthawk.... These are three of the principal aircraft operated from the base. Holloman trains pilots to fly these impressive crafts, including the German one. The German Luftwaffe operate a training facility there to train it's people.
So while you, and your shallow, pea-sized mind naively see as: "a diverse crowd of smiling people set against the backdrop of a sky full of killing machines"
What THE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HAVE TO DRIVE BY IT everyday see is: Themseves, against a backdrop of the symbols of their profesionalism, livelyhood and duty.
I don't even know why I'm bothering to tell you this.................. You couldn't care less
For the record......... Alamogordo, like most military towns, is a very friendly, albeit sun-baked, nice place. Friendliest in the world? I'd doubt it.
No matter what you say (and i don't care):
Death weapons are not that much friendly . Got it?
Peru is a beautiful country .
The militarism pretty much oozes from the marrow of your bones at this point.
It's not militarism, it's simply annoyance.
Why do you say that this person, Wes, hates the military. I see a lot of you saying that certain people hate the military, or hate the United States, or are Anti American, etc.
Why do you do that, because someone else branded that thought into you mind, when in fact, it is very far from the truth.
No one, IMO, including Wes, hates the military. No one hates the United States.
What some people do is to hate the leaders, the ones who have used the military as a tool for their own personal objectives, no matter how many of them die or get harmed.
Those are the people who should be hated, and not just by Wes, or me, but by every single American who has enough intelligence to see through the facade, and the lies, that they have put up to stonewall Americans from the truth.
Can you honestly say that you agree with all of the decisions that have come down from the top, including the invasion of Iraq?
Tell us that you can agree with it, now knowing all of the facts, and more of the truth, especially the truth of the trumped up reasons to go there, even though American military members have been killed, and for what? Tell us all, what did they die for?
Or, do I hate the military too, for asking that?
Wes must hate muskets too. That's too bad since it's them killing machines that made our independence possible.
Civilization is mutually assured destruction.
So when the Germans were marching across Europe and turning Mr and Mrs Goldberg into soap, you want to say that the weapons of the US weren't very friendly?
Separate names with a comma.
