I agree with ya'll, great pick last nite. I'm glad Coach will have someone more to shuffle on our defensive backfield. Can't wait to see him on Camp! Bring on Round 2!!!!

After NE took McCourty at 27:
29 -- NYJ Kyle Wilson
30 -- MIN Reported to be looking for a CB (both they and the Jest had McCourty in for a visit), they traded out of the first round.
32 -- NO Patrick Robinson

Yeah, it turns out, there was a run on defensive backs and wide receivers in the third round.

I actually, believed Wilson would be the pick instead of McCourty. But, if they're close in talent, maybe, you can't go wrong with either. I read one analyst that compares McCourty to Ronde Barber.
