Here's another somewhat interesting take - supposedly, high level OCCULT leaders(the Masons, witches, et al) have already prepared to explain a LIE to the world when these "disappeances" happen SHORTLY AFTER their NEW AGE Christ(Maitreya) emerges. According to one occult leader, there will be 3 kinds of reactions to his emergence - 1) Those that go hook, line, and sinker for this, 2) Those that are wishy-washy - they kinda do, but they kinda don't, and 3) Those that do not buy into this deception.

It's the #3 category that will supposedly be part of these "disappearances", according to them. I read about this last year, will see if I can find it and post it later.
