Forget exactly how his name was, but he looks good, looks like he belongs in the starting line-up.

Did anyone else notice his play in specifics, I just saw his jersey a lot around the running plays, and with the more aggressive looking line play, I assume he stepped up.

He is now our starting RT. He substituted for Kaczur who is injured.

Re: That backup O-lineman LaVoir???

It's amazing that he was cut by the Rams and thirty teams didn't claim him. He sounds like a solid qrospect.

Re: That backup O-lineman LaVoir???

He was pretty solid in the run game.

In the passing game...err...not so much.

But that's standard for young linemen.

Re: That backup O-lineman LaVoir???

Am I the only person in this forum that notice LaVoir give up 2 sacks??

At times he looked very confused out there....

Like Green-Ellis, judgment needs to be withheld on him until we see quite a bit more from him, good or bad.

The best that can be said about the JAG LeVoir is that he got in the way of his DLman more than he didn't...which is more than can be said about the excreble Yates, who should be released as soon as Ross is ready to be activated.

I still want to know what Britt did - or didn't - do to deserve his place on the weekly inactive list.

Britt's never looked that great in game aciton either. Though I agree with those who say we should hold off on annoting him (LeVoir) Kaczur's permanent replacement.

To Benny - I thought he looked better pass blocking (from a physical standpoint, yes, there were protection brainfarts on the right side) than anything. We were running left a whole lot against Denver, and LeVoir being around the ball on running plays is generally a bad thing. I observed him escorting his guy in the direction of the run several times. It's good he didn't give up on the play and stand around like Light and Mankins sometimes do when they miss blocks but still he seems to lack either the craftiness or physicality to reach linemen inside.

It's only his 1st start though so I guess really I should be saying who the **** cares. He spent the majority of his first game against NFL competition fully erect and that's a good start. He's probably at least Tom Ashworth quality.
